Image database
I'm still learning and I have a question about storing images. My hosting service offers free MySQL databases. Would it be benificial to set up a database to store my content and recip images and how hard would this be to do? |confused| It seems like if you mirror very many freesites or tgp's this would be the way to go.

It's not a good idea to store images in a database. If you do want to use a database it's much better to store the location of an image (URI) in the database and just reference the file when needed.

I see what you're talking about, you just store your images in one place on your server and then point to them. Thanks for the advise.|thumb

If you're short on space take a look at imagevenue.com I use the $19.99 a year advert free version. I only use it on blog material not on free sites... Use it on free sites and I imagine you will get plenty of rejections...
