Linklist Owners: Why Don't You Have A "For Women" Category?
 

OK, so I've been making a few "for women" freesites lately and I was looking to maximise each site by submitting it to a heap of lists, preferably those owned by people who frequent this board.

Problem is, not everyone here as a "for women" category. So I found myself following sig links but ultimately it didn't help me.

I just wanted to ask those who don't have such a category if they would consider making one.

Remember - at least 28% of all porn surfers are female (and that's figures from 2003). You will be getting some women surfing your list. You'll also get guys who might like the idea of "girly romantic" porn (which, I must admit, is what 4women porn tends to be).

Now, I realise this thread may border on being spammy, but I didn't want it to be that way. If it is, Greenie, please move it.

Thing is, freesites are such a bloody chore, so I'd rather make sure each one is listed everywhere, if possible.

I have to say, I just would never know what to submit to such a category. As a woman, my preferred porn includes bukkake, gagging blowjobs, dominant sex (maledome), gangbangs and such. I just prefer them with some storyline, essentially. Assuming I'm not the world's only perv, I guess those 28% of porn surfers that are women might be going for categories other than "for women" too ;)

My rule is that you could conceivably have any kind of content so long as the actual language of the site is speaking to a female audience. So obviously you wouldn't be saying "Your dick will be hard and you'll blow your load over these hot chicks" in your site text.

If you can show me any bukkake or gangbang or maledom sites that have language and ads acknowledging that the audience is female, I'd be pleased to see them (and list them at Ms Naughty).

So, in theory, a "for women" category is less about content and more about creating a space on a linklist where women are acknowledged as an audience, and as consumers.

Any customer will be more inclined to buy if you make them welcome. It's not a good business practice to ignore a percentage of your market.

I actually had this discussion with Greenguy and other linklist owners several years ago... I'm not even going to try and search for that thread, but it's here somewhere.

I also have a XXX For Women category, but I don't have many sites targeting that audience. Send em all my way and they'll be listed.

I have a Women Only category at acalinks.com feel free to submit there.

I added a while back cfnm category and had a for women category a long time now

it seems to get more submitts now, just need more women surfers now

If you are worried about filling the category, there are plenty of hosted free sites you can use to fill it.

I've also made a list of clean free sites if anyone is interested.

I also have a for women category. Most of the sites are softcore nude males posing and similar sites.

I do see your point there. My problem as a submitter is twofold -

1. Finding sponsors that have my kind of content and actually use what might be considered woman-friendly tours (or sites, for that matter).

2. Getting LL reviewers to accept a bukkake site (as an example) on a 4women category. I bet I'll get rejected for submitting to the wrong category... |huh

I have one on www.porn-xxx-porn.com (which is a VERY new LL so you may not want to sub there). Current freesites: 0 :D
