It's a little humid and rainy looking today. I could use a day of not working outside. Anyway, just working today.

Not much special going on today, just the usual stuff. I might watch the 2 last episodes of 24 season 4 later today but that's not for sure.

Other than that, just a little preparing for my Ireland trip.

Woke up around 6 or so because my dog was whimpering next to the bed. He didn't have to go out & he wasn't hungry or thirsty - he was scared of the rain & thunder |angry|

So I'm up & working - a lot of crap to do today before I head out to the big Sabres/Senators game tonight at 7 |thumb

Woke up last night choking on smoke. We had a multi-acre fire get started close to us on the island yesterday and it got rekindled overnight somehow. Several houses had to be evacuated, but not this one fortunately. It had been a nice day/night so we had all the windows open and around 2:30am the smoke woke me up and had me looking for a fire right here. Had to shut all the windows and run the air to clear the smoke out of here. (fire story and fire pic)

We're heading down to KW this morning and should be back here this afternoon. I'm hoping the fire gets under control by the time we're back, and they can get rid of this nasty smoke soon.

Off to Montreal this afternoon. My daughter has a dance competition there all weekend starting early tomorrow morning. I will of course be watching the hockey game tonight. Should be a good game.

I may actually get some work done today. Actually I've been getting lots of stuff done just not anything that actually makes me money.

I have some very clean closets although I still have the office closet from hell to do yet.

|yawn| Morning.. Not much today..just rushing to finish something before the deadline ends.. i think thursday lasts all the way until 12m PST?? |sandm

otherwise i have some boxes to sort thru and try to pull some stuff off my dying PC.

Mine consisted of waking up late and rushing out the door to get my daughter to school on time. Only to have the electrical system die in my suburban on the highway! Thank god for roadside assistance!

Morning all. Off to the dentist today. Get to have a tooth get filled again. Hope this time it stays in there. Other than that I'll be working on some stuff before I go.

Muggy and overcast outside so not doing yard work, however the car needs its semi anual service so thats a chunk out of my day right there.

Got a call yesterday from the real estate agent and it seems the people wanna move out sooner so now I can get possession of the house June 15th!! wooohoo 2 weeks earlier than expected!

I didn't fall asleep until 5am......|yawn| |angry| I'm all messed up now because of it. If it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't know what day it was.

Simon it's been smoky here also, none today but I can smell it. Come on rain before the state burns up!

Dragging my sleepy butt out to walk the dog then hopefully get some work done.
