Crappy Tuesday Morning

Morning
Kind of a crappy day yesterday and today. A friend I grew up with died of a heart attack yesterday around noon. And, I have a dentist appointment today. Needless to say, there will be no radio show for me tonight. I will be scarce for a couple of days, I think.

Good Morning |waves|

Sorry to hear about your friend Jim and good luck at your dentist appointment today!

It is a cloudy day here but stil pretty warm. Lot of work planned for today so I'll just stay at home and work hard :)

I hope everyone has a nice day !

SirMoby 2007-05-15 07:11 AM

Sorry about your loss Jim.

It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here. Sunny, highs of about 80 but of course it's humid. I think I'm going for a bike ride this morning before I get some serious work done.

I love dodging commuter traffic before most people have had their coffee :)

Jim - that's terrible...I'm sorry.

My Sabres are pretty much done - down 3-0 with Game 4 tomorrow - I just hope we win so that I can go & see one more home game :)

I should be here all day playing catch up on a big pile of work.

Ramster 2007-05-15 08:33 AM

Good Morning.

Jim, too bad.

As Greenguy said Ottawa is now up on Buffalo 3-0 with game 4 here in Ottawa tomorrow night which I'll be going to. Last night's game was incredible to be at, loud and exciting. One more win and it's the Stanley Cup Finals.

Jim, I know how you feel, 2 of the guys I grew up with have already passed away, both in their 40's. seems just yesterday we were skateboarding and shit in front of my moms house..

today is a good day to drink a toast to absent friends

cheers

Mornin' y'all,

Jim, sorry about your friend. When it's someone you've known most of your life, that's about your same age, it hits a little too close to home. I lost a friend to a brain anurism a few years ago, besides the sadness that he was suddenly gone, it took me awhile to get past the thoughts of "it could have been me."

|coffee is on, help yourself...

Sorry to hear about your friend Jim. Here's a toast to lost friends.

Good Morning Everyone. Raining and cool here this morning... just want to go back to bed.

Have a great day.

good morning everyone |waves|

sorry to hear that Jim, it does hit kinda home when someone your age or that you know dies, no matter how well you knew them :(

well I've got coffee hangover this morning. don't usually drink it but last nite had 3 cups and was up till almost 3 am. I think a nap is in order today :)

have a great one!

MrMaryLou 2007-05-15 09:39 AM

Good Morning All :) Sorry to hear about your friend Jim :(

Useless 2007-05-15 09:54 AM

Weather is blah with partial blahness.

I shall remain scarce, as I have been, while I balance my efforts between my brother-in-law's house and hammering on my own. I was hoping to have this place ready to sell by mid-summer, but that's not going to happen. :(

Cleo 2007-05-15 10:52 AM

Day two of much needed rain...
Had planned on going down to the Keys with Ana to shoot but that has been cancelled due to the weather.

It does seem the older I get the more everyone around me dies. :(

Nothing much planned for today other then work and some errands.

docholly 2007-05-15 10:57 AM

Morning..
Nothing here to see..move along..

sorry about your childhood pal, Jim. even if you weren't close or lost touch it's still stunning to hear that someone you once knew has passed over.

otherwise have a good one.. |roses|

Morning!

Still looking for rain here!

Sorry about your friend Jim. I think it's a reality check when we loose friends at our own age.

Too bad about your hockey team Greenie.

Cleo great pic. of you and your girlfriend in your avatar |thumb

Nothing going on here which is a good thing! Have a great day all!

bluemoney 2007-05-15 12:53 PM

Good morning (Funny, I don't feel tardy) :D

Sorry to hear about your friend Jim, I know that feeling all too well.

SheepGuy 2007-05-15 02:03 PM

Sorry about your buddy Jim. Lost a few friends in the last couple of years, all unnatural causes, but it makes you think about your own mortality, something most of us don't think about much.

danclips 2007-05-15 02:52 PM

Had a real scare recently with my own father. He's recuperating right now from having a pacemaker/difribulator put in. Hopefully bought him a few more years.

Serious reality check.

perhaps by "hooker" she meant a fisherwoman you know where you hook the fish thus making you a "hooker"..

What is funny about kids is that they think NONE of us ever have had sex or know what it's like to date or have hormones etc.. possibly MY parents never had a clue.. but from 1950..we were all about sex, drugs, rock and roll..they (our kids and/or grandkids) have no clue as to what we 'really' know.. and what 15 yr old boy didn't have sex on the brain 24/7???

grin you manage to make me smile:), all i try is to protect my daughter, hell i cant get into her brian that boys 15 think of sex only ( the guy she mention got 3 girls in 3 weeks because they only wanted to kiss), its probably a teenager fight, hey your old and my mom, hell you are wrong, but damn thats not a reason to say "ho" to me, my hubby freaked out, my 10 year old son said to my hubby (because he was upstairs in his working room) he said mom is upset, Mel said she was a "ho" still as me being a mom, i asked my hubby leave it, even i had to cry, i said all will be oke, lett me have some minutes and i will get her back in her own way, i have an easy way, i will ignore, because its that "ho mom" who is protecting her all the time and saving her ass everywhere, hubby didnt understand, i said thats a mom thing, i said she can acked like a 18 year old but she still needs her mom and i know she didnt mean it, she is like me, but then i would never get into my head to name my mom a "ho" but she is still a kid age 12......i know i am a weeny, but i cant help it, i only wish they would put some papers with a kid when they are bourn, you know papers which will say how deal with kids

spookyx 2007-05-15 08:27 PM

I am a hooker and proud of it. I charge hot girls $1.98 to have sex with me, however, I normally wave the fee :D
