All I know about him is what I saw in that movie "The people vs larry flynt" or something, and from that I didnt like him

I thought about this last night. There are not really a lot of people in the world where so many others are almost relieved when that person dies.

It is one of those deals where it is always sad for the family when somebody dies BUT when that person spent so much of his life trying to dish out hate..he coined the 'god said Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve' line, he was anti integration during the civil rights era, etc I think it is fair enough if the people who he set out to hurt don't shed tears.

Yer all goin ta heyull :D

I do feel sorry for his loved ones left behind and while I don't wish hate or bad things on him, he certainly wished hate and bad things on most of the world. Well, at least everyone that wasn't exactly like him.

I wonder what will happen to his Christian movement. You know, trying to convince people that Jesus felt we should all judge others instead of ourselves.

I think that I can honestly say that I'm probably the only one here who knows the Falwell family and met Brother Jerry on numerous occasions. In fact, one time I pissed him off and he gave me a noogie. (One of the benefits of a misspent youth in Richmond VA and having political connections.)

One shining tidbit that few people know.... his church, the original Thomas Road Baptist Church location that is, was a former Donald Duck Orange Juice Factory.

Man, I could share a few stories...
