Hit a plateau
This is what im doing so far.
1) I submit a free site 5 to 7 times a week to about 16 good link lists 2) 2 main going blogs that I update every couple days. I do have feeder blogs but they need some work. 3) I got 1 root that I usually submit my free sites to that is a small link list. All my shit so far but its open to public submissions. 4) Currently looking into an AVS system with the help of a great guy :) 5) 3 domains Im kinda stumped as to how I can grow from here. I struggle to make the minimum payout every 2 weeks. I know the quality of the work helps, but just looking for new projects or new strategies to help. Any suggestions as to how I can make all this grow and see some bigger cheques? |
Just keep on building, diversifying, trying out new stuff. Learn what works and what doesn't. Freesites, galleries, hubs, LLs, blogs, what have you. Just keep putting new stuff out there constantly. Keep this up for a number of years, sacrificing family, friends and the joys of life, doing the hard work, burning the midnight oil and you will, I GUARANTEE that you will, eventually, achieve a modest income. Hey, it worked for me! |jester|

If I had a podium to stand behind, the one thing which I'd preach is that people should be spending more time on their own sites/hubs/projects/ideas than the amount of time they spend on pages intended for submittal elsewhere.

I spent the night building a new gate for my yard and thinking. You guys are right. I should be spending time on updating my blogs and hub. I'll take that away for sure.
Would it help if I got a few more domains and put up some hubs/main sites/etc...? Would I notice a jump? |
Porn Junkie if i was you i would not dive into more domains, i did that when i started doing this kind of work and ended up with at least 100 domains that were never touched once they were built. I have now cut that down to just 4 which i update with new pages everyday. Keeps the bookmarks/surfers interested and makes it a much more useful site which after all is what the SE ultimately want.

Gonna have to try to make it a habit I guess t submit to all 32 every day. |
If you have spare time you are comfortable using, then cool. Just keep doing what you can extra. But if you are finding that you are running out of time, then you need to analyize what gives you the best return for your time.

If, like myself a few months ago, you've hit a plateau because all your time is being spent in 'maintenance mode' with none left over for working on growth, take a serious look at your workflow.
Reworking it to save even 10% of your time ought to be able to let you do even more submissions, work on your hub, etc. I don't have any specific tips, since everyone's style is different, but there's almost always some way to streamline what you're doing. In my own case, simply chunking my hand submissions together by what sites had similar forms saved about 3 minutes per day and was mentally much more comfortable. That 3 minutes wasn't so much, but combined with a few other small things, it added up. |
Automation can sure be your friend. Not saying auto submitting, but often many tasks can be automated, has saved me alot of time over the years. And as said, leaves you to work on increasing traffic or sales.
