What Do You Miss The Most?

What do you miss the most from when you started out in this biz? My strongest memory is when you could submit unlimited pages to search engines and get listed in minutes. We had 50k search engines traffic in 2 weeks Smile What about you?

In my first 6 months building free sites I had several free sites on the first page of Google search results for "naughty teachers", "sexy teachers" "nasty teachers". Now all I see is junk.

Being able to make multiple sales off of freesites with crappy vidcaps and blind links everywhere. |cry|

Being excited to see 10k visits.

There are too many things from back in the day that I miss to list. I think I miss my 1984 Chrysler New Yorker the most. :)

I have to agree with the SE listings. So much harder and so much more work involved to get a first page listing nowadays. I miss all the good traffic sites (tgp's etc) and the fact that the webmasters werent even thinking about selling submit passes. But it does help keep the spammers and cheaters away.

i am probably thinking different, i changed my real boss working job for the net, ( and i have to mention here i dont have to work, but i like to work) but i still miss the people i dealed with everyday, the joking around and bugging them , in this bizz one thing i notice all say" oh cool you work for yourself", so no boss after your butt, but there is one difference, when i worked for a boss i worked less hours, working from home also give you the opportunity to work more, when i worked for a boss, i came home and my job was done, in this bizz there is no time done, there is always something to do, i changed that months ago, because i remmebered why i started this biz, working my own hours and not for a bozz, how come all work much more hours then when they work for a bozz..........something to think about:D
