2 years and still no money

Hi Guys,
Its almost 2 years what I have started my adult site. www.sweet-alice.com
Since I earn aprox. 100$ per month I am thinking to give up my own site and open in with experience company like:
southern-charms.com or http://www.theadultcoalition.com/
What do you think about that? Do you know any other company? Every opinion appreciated.

Why don`t you try to buy some traffic or to trade with someone?

Nenad 2007-05-29 05:12 PM

Make webmaster program with various tools, move those leaks on site, make updates every couple days with fresh content ( give them reason to stay couple months at your site as members ) and you will make much more money.

terry 2007-05-29 05:19 PM

If you have held out for two years and are making $100 a month, then I would suggest you get more traffic and follow the suggestions already posted. If you want to talk to me, send me a PM or use email or ICQ and I can give you some advice. Good luck.

I run several online paysites so here's my take.

You have no "punch" to the site. There is nothing special about the tour that would ever make me signup. You are nice looking with a nice body but that is it. Look at other Milf sites on the net like Wifey, CumonDagny, Rachel Aziani and others and they push something. Big tits, facial cumshots or whatever but they push something the members will get to see inside.

So basically you need a new tour!!!!
Then you need to get traffic to it. How do you do that? You may need to join an affiliate program that has webmasters and traffic.

Don't give up, just make some changes. Tour being number 1. And also $9.95 onetime fee is TOO cheap. Make it $19.95 a month recurring. Surfers expect to pay monthly for a membership and have no problem doing so.

Good Luck.

If you do or would do webcam chat then sign up as a model on the cam sites.
They'll give you a link to your site in your profile.
You'll make money on the cams and get traffic to your site aswell.

plateman 2007-05-30 12:39 PM

don't feel bad I worked a year or more and didnt make any money

you just started differently than me, as a pay site

what ram said was good advice and I may add - branch out , like try building free sites to see if you can make money from other sites

make the changes that are needed and work on generating traffic

learn other aspects of the biz

also some have said it's easier to promote other sites than trying to make your own into a money maker

also not having a rebilling site killed any chance of building up revenue
and that maybe the biggest reason why you only making 100.00

HowlingWulf 2007-05-30 08:04 PM

Yes I agree a new tour with a tagline like housewife/milf from eastern europe mmm good. If you have a great looking tour think about opening an affiliate program.

Allfetish 2007-05-30 11:53 PM

I agree about the webmaster program, if possible and viable for you. What could it hurt? Who knows you may catch a whale who will send you 10 sales a day.

Also on this page http://www.sweet-alice.com/join.html i may be wrong but I think it may help to make it more obvious where the surfer needs to click to join. Make it as easy as possible for them to hand you money. ;) Try not to confuse them either.

Maybe:

[big bold type] CLICK HERE TO JOIN NOW! (CCBill) [/big bold type]

[smaller type] Problems with above? Try Verotel instead. JOIN HERE with Verotel! [/smaller type]

Best of luck to you!

Starting a webmaster program should be one of the last things you do, right now. I don't mean to be rude here, but time and time again webmasters complain about sites not converting and their traffic being wasted, yet they encourage people with no, or little, track record to do just that, as in this thread. Starting a affiliate program is a good idea, but only after you have a site that converts and retains it's members at a good amount. It could hurt if the site is not converting well, which is unknown as there is probably not enough coming to the site right now to get good numbers. It could hurt because the site would not convert and every one would know and pass it on, reputation gone. Game over.

As for traffic, the only traffic I see you trying to get is with toplists. Toplists can be great returns, but you have to have some traffic to send to get up in the lists in the first place. And with so many listed, the traffic that is going to the friends page will be so spread out so thin, you'd have to have a lot of traffic to even show up on any of the lists.

Maybe it's just me, but in most of the pictures you don't look like your very thrilled about doing what your doing.

And, as mentioned, why don't you have a recurring or on going monthly price? Sure can't build up a following or on-going income with one time charges.

stuveltje 2007-06-02 06:18 PM

oh me gonna give an nasty answer to this one, if you earn only 100 bucks a month after 2 years then you probably didnt do enought research about how adult bizz works, thats it , thats my answer:D

How is that going to help? Are YOU willing to waste your traffic on a site that obviously does'nt sell well? That does'nt have a good tour?

No offense to the site or the owner. I just dont understand how people can say to start a affiliate program. Talk about bad advice, geezz

ACTALLY.

She is sexy and I'd buy a membership BUT she needs a new tour to show that and she needs to charge monthly to have any chance at surviving.

Exactly, that is what I am trying to say. The site needs work, BEFORE starting a affiliate program. As it is now, it's not ready. Also does she know what is involved in a program and how to run/work it, know before starting one up.

Slap Dot 2007-06-14 04:27 AM

Need an affiliate program.

Well said.

Fetishlady 2007-06-14 12:46 PM

obviously, your site needs a lot of work done allice to make it more appealing to surfers, update your content and i'm sure it will make a difference.

pigbait75 2007-06-14 03:03 PM

theres links everywhere i wasnt sure where to start there so many options i was overwhelmed.

danutzupmp 2007-06-14 03:11 PM

Allice that is odd…. you are a model right? As a model you should do several thousand $/month working with a web cam site for example.
