Rotating Thumb Pic of the Day script

Does anyone have any suggestions for a script that creates a pic of the day in thumbnail form? The sort where the user can whack it in a sidebar and it links to your larger pic of the day?

There are sponsors who offer this. I only need to add this code to my page:
Code:

and their script does the rest.

So I'd essentially need a script that automatically rotated the hotlinked thumbnail on a daily basis.

Or any kind of thumb POTD script would be good.

Are you looking for a script that does what I am doing at MyPoTD.com which essentially powers the Pic of The Day at MySexPosts.com
or
Are you looking for sponsor programs that offer a linked thumbnail in your sidebar that changes on a daily basis?

I'm after a script for myself, rather than looking for potd sponsors.

And I'm looking for the ability to actually understand what I'm doing. That may be harder to find.

We use a cgi script for ours, I think you've seen it ;-)
If you're interested, drop me an email and I can help you out.

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask if anyone knows of a clip-of-the-day solution with thumbnail as well.

http://www.calmdev.com/ - Haven't tried it, so you will have to talk to dev team about all features. I think it is $45.00

My script uses URLs and thumbnail locations stored in a database, sorted into niches if needed, and displays a record dependant on the day of the month/year.

Alternatively, a search at http://www.hotscripts.com/ will bring a few results that may be easy to understand/implement :)

Thanks for the tips :) Sparky has also made a suggestion so I'll see what I can do. Steep learning curve here.
