Multiple blogs on one domain?

I've been reading a lot about blogging and I am thinking of putting together a couple of blogs. I'm not sure how this works, can you put different blogs in sub folders on one domain or would it be better to have a separate domain for each blog?|huh I have no experience with blogs at all and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can put the blogs in subfolders if you want...the question is what are you planning on blogging about. Are you going to be posting in the same niche? Do you want to use the domain for other things or just blogging?

If they are in the same niche, then I would set them up in folders on a single domain and build some type of hub on the root.

Different niche's, different domains and set up some type of hub on the root.

Thanks for the info.|thumb
Actually I was planning to use the domain for other things in addition to a blog.
I had planned to write a blog about my experiences as a newbie in this business but I read somewhere that you can build traffic with it as well, so I thought I would put up some blogs in different niches as I learn more about it.
I had also planned to do a non-adult blog on a variety of subjects and anything I can learn about blogging would help me there as well.:D

If money is extremely tight, then I'd stick with one domain. But since you're doing the work, you might as well develop multiple domains at the same time. This will allow you to use links, build up PR for each, and if you end up doing well.. you'll have 3-4 traffic resources versus 1.
