How much proof do you need...

...before you ban someone for multisubmits? Case in point: I have identified 8 domains that I strongly suspect belong to the same webmaster/bathroom gang. I haven't been able to connect them based on whois info, sponsor codes or IP addresses (which is why I'm not outing them here), but the sites have similarities that IMO go beyond coincidence. All the indexes have the same broken recip image and recips are saved to the same folder structure.

Is this enough to ban the bunch? I think it is, but I'd like to hear other opinions.

I know it is and I probably will ban this guy/gang, but I don't want to jump the gun. I have on occasion banned people unfairly in haste, but maybe this one's a no-brainer.

On a general note I have to say I fucking hate these cheaters who make me waste my time hunting them down. |angry|

Lemmy,
I left you a pm. We can compare notes and maybe a few names will match. ;)

I would ban them. If you ban someone that you shouldn't, more than likely they'll contact you asking what's up and you can go from there. Its been my experience that if they contact you to work out the problem, they're an honest webmaster that maybe just made a mistake.
