FanTC 2007-06-04 08:16 AM

Good Morning!

Old Mr Sunshine is peeking in the window and I think I heard the old fella say "psssssst, get your ass to the beach." So while errand running shortly, I must obey the golden orb. I think I'll stop at the store and grab a box of crackers and couple of loaves of bread and feed the gulls too.

Since we'll be over around Biloxi running errands today, I think we might stop by a litttle place I discovered upon coming back after the storm.
They have an incredible rib eye smothered in crawfish sauce, some of the best grilled redfish, and calimari that will make your tastebuds do backflips.

For the record, I do not eat alot... I just eat often.

Have a Southern Fried Day!

Good Morning.

Did a lot of tv watching yesterday after Greenguy and Yell left since we had a late night after seeing the Senators win the game the night before. Game 4 tonight, we need a win badly. But I do have some work to do today before heading to that game tonight.

Have a good day all. Go Sens Go!!!

Up early due to Christine getting ready to start her new job this week and me being a light sleeper. Guess I'll be getting up early all week.

Doing the gym thing and then just another exciting day of making the porn.

Good Monday Peoples |waves|

Well, after a nice long weekend away from the computer & enjoying hockey up at Ramster's, I'm back & ready for work....HA!

Had a great time up in Ottawa - the game was great & the atmosphere was incredible. I just hope that I get to experience that in Buffalo in the very near future.

Lots of work to catch up on.....

Fonz 2007-06-04 10:50 AM

Morning all,

It's a nice day today with the sun breaking trough the clouds every now and then.
I went to see a first division soccer game yesterday, both teams really sucked. I won't be doing that again any time soon :)

Have a nice day all!

sue-fl 2007-06-04 11:19 AM

Morning!

Well my son did it again, he was arrested yesterday. We had been told even though it preliminary he is looking at a 10 to 25 years.

Since he got out of jail last time he was back in counseling, had a good job and living here at home |huh

I know a lot of people on this board thought I was giving up on him when I had him arrested last time. Well that was not the case but it is now. He is our son and of course we will always love him but no longer will be behind him. We came to that decision after a long talk and many tears with our other two kids.

So needless to say I'll be working my ass off for a while to stay sane |thumb

Have a good day all!

ponygirl 2007-06-04 11:23 AM

Sue, I'm so sorry to hear that. Being a mom to difficult children is so hard, you have to do what feels right in your heart, not what other people think you should do. We'll always love our children no matter what, but you can't drown yourself in guilt or second guessing, you are a person too and you have to live your life. Stay strong, my thoughts are with you [bighugs]

Morning all. I'm in a Mondaze. Need to get cracking on a bunch of stuff here. Neeed |coffee !!! Great weekend though. The guests are now gone and the house will be and already is so much more quiet.

Cheers,
B

It's such a travesty that the medical problem of addiction is dealt with by our legal system.

Prohibition sucks... :(

docholly 2007-06-04 02:16 PM

Morning ..

I was pretty chipper until I read Sue's news. Sorry to hear that. And sometimes being a parent means making the hardest choices of all.

Anyway.. i've been out already..thank the goddess the banks open early here so i can get done and get home before the blast of hot air gets unBEARable.

Got my Evite to the Soprano's finale on Sunday. This time they put a disclaimer, no one under 14 admitted. Last time (the opening one) someone brought their babies...and let's just said .. it was not a family friendly crowd. Someone almost got whacked in the theater. Amazing how many imperfections show up on the HD big screen that don't show on my HD big screen at home.

That's about it.. school ends this week ..which means only 5 more weeks until Xbiz!! woot woot.

Good evening all:) my dad hitted me up this eve, he is a real antique clock collector, and believe me he already has some of his clocks in books and he is selling his clocks thru whole of europe, now this eve he was asking me how to make a website, now since it took me to learn html in 6 moths it wont be easy for him, so i said to him, i can learn you, or i will buy you a domain, make the page for you and host it, i think i owe them , they never ask something from me and i realy ignored them the last months because of the shit with my fatherinlaw ( my parents miss me at the summerhome, normally i would be there already), i feel so fucking guilty,i know he didnt wanted to ask me directly "hey girl, can you help me with an website" but i know what he wanted when he called me on the phone this eve, and i am realy happy to do that for him

Have a good day all!

I know where you are going thru, my hubbies younger brother went the same way like your son, only my hubbies brother went a bit further because his parents didnt focus enough on him ( they had realation problems that time) i remember when i started to date my hubby, his younger brother age 13 was already in some youth prison for the use of drugs and stealing cars, realy we visite him alot, i only saw a nice guy age 13 (he looked so sweet and for real he is for known people), some time i notice and told my hubby, we will get enough time to visite him and i am right, 23 years later , in all those 23 years, he still use drugs but went worser in criminal things, he did bank robbery and all, still the only one who cared about him ( as a parent) whas my father inlaw (in meantime already divorched for years of my motherinlaw) my father inlaw tried and tried, i said why the hell you still jump up for your son after so many years of shit, his answer" its my child" i couldnt argue with that one, a parent will do all to help their kid!
On that point Sue i know what you going thru, i see it at my inlaw side already for 23 years, it was hard to understand for me, but i do understand now alread for some years:) I am sorry you have to deal with this, but yep its still your own flesh and blood:)
