A fine morning to all...
No rain yesterday even though our brilliant weather people said it was going to rain all day. So, I am expecting no rain today either. I have a dentist appointment today but besides that, work.

Just got back from the dentist myself Jim. He had to finish some work he couldn't get done last week. Slacker...
Tonight I'll be picking up a bass guitar again for the first time in 1.5 years, guess I'll be a bit rusty :)

Been having some rough times personally (with a very sick friend) so I haven't been around much. I hope everyone is doing okay and good wishes to all.

Another day begins...
Just a day or work planned. I'm learning this new version of GoLive which is geared around CSS so I'm altering how I code since I'm told by all that CSS is the future.

Loving this new version of Safari. It's unbelievable fast. So for the only issue is the third party spell check that I use doesn't work correctly with it but I mostly use the Mac's built-in spell check anyway. I really love the way I can resize any text box, even ones that weren't coded to be resizable.

Looking like rain this afternoon. Yesterday my spare satellite dish and 150 gallon water bladder arrived so I'm all set for this year's hurricane hell.

Neighbor isn't doing good at all. Went to see him yesterday but he was too out of it to even know I was there.

On a more positive note we are going to try to play racquetball this evening after Christine gets off of work.

My fan arrived from welovemacs.com and it was only $29 plus shipping... now if I disappear, the reason is that sis decided to change the fans and she is not familiar with computers at all.
She is a restorer but not of older macs, OMG. Forgot to tell her the putty knife. We have some at home but they are not new and clean.
I kept asking her to check my email, etc when I was in hospital and she said she won't do harm to it... think of me please, I am worried.

We have the guide Cleo but when you have only 1 computer, it is hard to watch it and change fans...|cleo|

morning everyone. Playing around with ffmpeg today. Also, will be spending some time in photoshop as well. Recently got the new CS3 versions of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc. So fast now as everything is native to intel processor. :)

I hate that crap Simon. I have someone close to me going to the Doctor on Friday because of a lump in her armpit.

Morning.. not much "good" about it for me.

I got an email late yesterday that my former business partner (we had an entertainment tour management company for 12 yrs.) died of cancer last week. I spoke to her in February as she was planning a trip to Vegas to look for an investment home here and an assisted living facility for her mom. She said she'd let me know when her plans were firmer. and Now it's June-4 months later and I get this email. She found out in March.. had a been a good diligent friend I would have followed up and possibly would have known.. but everything else seemed more important at the time.

So a big life lesson to me in this (and to share)..if you have a friend or relative that you haven't heard from, lost touch with, been too busy for, reach out..you never know when you won't have another opportunity.

Simon and Cleo, obviously you both have learned this lesson much better than I did. I wish both of your friends a speedy recovery or at least an eased one because both of you are taking the time to be there for them.

Big ass hugs to all of you from me.

Sorry about your friend Simon. That friend is very lucky to have you though |thumb Things are not pleasant here at my house either and without my good friend spending time with me every day I'd be a basket case!

Looks like a few of us went to the dentist today! Jim I having the same thing a deep cleaning which will take 4 visits. Since I quit smoking I wanted to go for a cleaning. Had no idea I would need a deep cleaning but I do. I can't start mine till July though as my denist is booked till then...|angry|

Time to relax now my day has consisted of a trip to the denist and a trip to the visitation center at county jail. |crazy|
