Would you consider making this a permanent project. If so, I will look into creating a PHP script which will feed these IP addresses into PHPBB forum installations when either a script is run, or a cron event is fired.

Please let me know if you are interested in pairing up, as I would love to try and reduce spam on a lot of forums.

WOW - good idea.

I got about 60 forums, and those chinese fuckers are just ruining them with thier viagra spam.

One problem tho, you may have noticed all those chinese fuckers are using proxies.

So maybe what you could do is read MAC addresses - these are serial numbers built into someone's actual pc.

This way i dont believe they can fake it by using a proxy.

Good idea tho, anything to stop those fuckwits would be great.
