Buying a site outright
 

Anyone ever done this? Is it the seller's responsibility to assign the sponsors to the buyers...or how does that work? Any reliable way to check conversion ratios, etc?

Usually you cannot take over the sponsor accouts. Usually you need to change all the link codes to your own codes.

Checking stats is usually easy. How much search engine ect is important as is overall traffic. Checking income on a site is not so easy. You have to trust the stats the seller is showing is sales coming from the site you are buying. If they are direct links most sponsors show a referring url so that is always good.
