How to start successful CJ?

Hello guys.
I'd like to start CJ (that looks like sexocean and others). I am not a complete newbie in this biz but I have not dealt with CJ before & asking for advice.
What could you suggest/recommend?

Regards, Xka

hi xka

Most big webmasters here don't like to or have use cj because they get enough hits without it but im sure when they first started they used it or other tricks to get attention.
But don't worry, there are hundreds of large sites still using cj.
Just find a site that can to an even exchange.
If your site is nice and easy to navigate surfers will book mark your site and then you will have it made.

CJ huh...

Well I guess the best thing to do would be buy some traffic and send all the hits to trades with other CJs which in return will get you traffic back. At least it should.

Thats pure bullshit Earnie. Ive never used CJ or anything like it because its a waste of time and bandwidth. CJ does nothing but piss the sufer and the mentality that he will buy something to get ouf of the revolving door of pop us is pure crap.

9-10 will turn the machine off or reboot.

CJ is a "trick" used by webmasters to make you think you are getting something from the exchange. I know many "programs" that used to advertise thousands of hits for $$$. All they did wa put you in a CJ rotation and you saw hits come thru one door and got out the other one.

My advice is use a TGP if you want to attract attention. There is no easy answer for traffic anymore.

No, but if you ever see a CJ site on there, let me know.

Im confused then, could you define CJ.
I define a CJ as any site that sends any hits via blind links.

does the real linking url show up in the browser bar?
can the surfer see where he is going?
can he freely navigate unimpeded back to the site he came from.

if the surfer can accomplish that on a site, then its wouldnt be a true CJ site.

I know what you mean i think.
You expect every link on a TGP to go to a gallery, which is a noble thought indeed. The overuse of trade scripts and especially those with high skim rates have made that a rarity in todays TGP market. Sites are now created by programmers, not pornographers, hehe.

Of course the big 20 or 25 original sites dont have to resort to that stuff.

I agree with you but I did look around to see and there are few sites still using cj. I won't list it here to protect there privacy but small site that can't get enough hits to get on the top ten or even top hundred list and can't get a trade with other sites needs to do something.

I know it's not a very honest thing to do but some webmasters do need a little help. If I was only getting 100 hits a day will you still trade links with me?

Ramster 2003-09-29 08:14 AM

A CJ is a site that does use blind links jerking the surfer around. Most TGPs use blinds links sending surfers to trades but they for the most part are not considered CJs. They are TGPs using a trade script sending 20-30% to trades.

Although I have seen some TGPs send half of their surfers to trades and that is bordering on CJ but honestly not considered a CJ as the biz knows one to be. A CJ sends them all to trades, ect.

Thats the problem with this industry. Too many guys short cutting and strip mining the surfer. Stuff like cross sales with prechecked boxes on the join page...so that 9.99 site ends up costing you 90 bucks cuz you glommed on 2 $40 a month sites. And people wonder why we are in the shape we are in with Visa [XPIX] but yet they dpnt see anything wrong with ripping the surfer...

To answer your question...yes Id trade links with you. I dont look at the number of hits but in comparison I prefer the quality of traffic.

If you want to trade links [matter of fact any of you that want to trade links] hit me up via email. Ive got a decent MGP that I would be happy to exchange traffic with folks with.

And I started out with Cleo when she first started....
