Hosting?

Who is the best to go with for low bandwith/large disk space. I need half decent customer support.

Thanks

Cleo 2004-01-23 10:44 PM

I've been with M3 Server for a number of years and am very happy with them. Good prices, good support, nice people to deal with.

Choose hosting from the drop down menu in my sig to get their prices. :)

Despite this spamming issue, I have to say that this AkiraWeb offer looks nice ...anbybody dealt with them ?

thrillho 2004-01-24 09:40 PM

I signed up with SiteValley in December. I'm paying about 25 bucks a month for 95 gigs of transfer, 1200Mb of storage, control panel that uses Webalizer stats. All emails have been answered quickly--most within a few minutes. They moved my sites for me and I've experienced no down time. So far so good! Click my www link below if you want to see how fast stuff loads or anything.

AmateurTrash 2004-01-24 09:59 PM

Thanks for the impute. I'll most likely sign up for one of these.

Sorry to be repetitive. I'm sure the hosting question has been asked a million times, but opinions can change overnight so I like to get some recent impute before I make a decision like this

Take it easy.

Slinx 2004-01-28 10:46 AM

I'm not mogard, but I'm using them, too.

The price is high, but the service is one of the best I ever had!
They take care of my requests within 5-30 minutes.

Check out Web123's Hosting.
They are a solid outfit |peace|

chowda 2004-01-28 03:11 PM

if u havent picked a host yet.. consider lookin at www.webair.com

they might be able to help u cater to ur specific needs

Slinx 2004-01-28 03:37 PM

Yes, webair is fine, too. They have a nice control panel.

officer 2004-01-28 04:20 PM

I'm not saying anything bad about the folks at webair, for all I know they have straightened themselves out in the last couple years, but I had a bad experience with them about 3+ years ago. Took me about 45 days of hit and miss dns, web server down for 1-2 days at a time, etc etc, till I finally said screw it and moved.
I had great service and reliability with Web123's while I was a client |headbang|

National Net. If you're looking for a budget, it's not probably for you, as their BW is not the cheapest on the net, not even near, but service is awesome. My sites has never been down.

My road with NatNet started rocky, as there was three accidents they did, but they also repaired them very professionally. Those must be because they bought Strictly Hosting, whose client I was. That was top notch hosting too.

One thing I like a lot in NatNet is, that they made you feel like important client. They must have lots of big clients, but every time I mail, they serve me like I'm the most important client in their company. I know I'm just one small webmaster, but I like it still. Makes my day, lol! |bananna|
