Anti Virus, computer protection

Anyone want to recommend me something? I'm using the AVG freebie right now, but trying to get into the porn biz and all the related surfing I'm doing now, I'm thinking maybe something a little better. What's the "webmaster recommended" product ? :D

I've been using AVG's free anti-virus for a few years now and I haven't had any problems with it.

I'd advise against using Norton/Symantec or whatever it's called. That thing is very bloated and last time I tried it I hated it.
Sorry there's no other recommendations.

If I had posted first, I would replied with the same thing, except I would have said fucking Norton.

I too use AVG free.

Thanks! What about Spybot, do you run it from time to time?

KG Gary 2007-07-13 03:28 AM

I do.
Spybot, Adaware, and a nice tiny free program which makes me feel safe called StartUpMonitor which pops up to get your permission if any programs try and add themselves to your auto-start programs.
:)

Best thing I have found: http://www.kaspersky.com/

It is the best antivirus

I'm a big fan of Webroot Spy Sweeper and Eset NOD32.

That's what I install on my geek customers systems and have had zero problems with return calls. It's also what I run on my 3 systems here |thumb

I just use Mac OS X.
