Woke up at 4:30 after medicating myself around 9 last night in order to insure a full night sleep. Oddly enough, I almost feel normal today :)

Early quit for me today as I decided to treat myself to a replacement receiver for the Pool House as well as a new iPod (just a 30 gig, but it's probably a vast increase over the 15 gig model that has 2003 as a copyright date on it)

After that, I've got to clean the Pool House for the 1st time since the big Independence Day party so that The Bitch's friend can have her kid's wedding shower tomorrow |banghead|

Morning all,

For some reason I woke up before 8 am all week. I noticed I can get more work done than when I wake up at 11 :)
After some building and submitting it'll be time to start getting drunk again.

Not sure why I'm up at this early hour. No specific plan for the day in place yet. I may just wing it. Sometimes ya gotta live on the razors edge. ;)

Give me about 10 minutes, then |coffee will be on...

|yawn| Good Lawdy I have NO clue why I am up at 430am. I didn't go to bed until 11pm. Must mean I'll be on the couch by 2 today.

Few things bothering me lately:

1) Why is Jeffrey Jones still working??? And working in a movie that appeals mostly to teen and 20something boys?? Where are all those "Protect our children" do gooders??

2) How is it that we self police ourselves when it comes to bodily fluids yet mainstream TV can run commercials on Cartoon Network (ok it's in adult swim) of streaming pee?? (actually i don't think it's really pee but still it IMPLIES that it is)

3) What happened to former Rep. Foley? Is he still in rehab or did he just quietly slip away into pedophile obscurity?? Or will he become an episode on "to catch a predator"

Ok... Now that I've presented those for pondering.. I might take a nap..
Actually I have a trade show today and then I'll Nap.

Looks like rain here today so I'll be right here working. Might need to get out some this weekend, as next week gets ruined by the invasion of touristas looking to score some spiny lobsters during what's called "mini season" down here.

It's two days of mostly inexperienced divers and lobsters hunters racing around in rented (and towed) boats looking to take their limit and then go get drunk at the bar while waiting for the kitchen to cook their catch. Of course some of them make the mistake of drinking before diving and most years there are a few who don't make it back and plenty who wind up needing help when their boats get stranded on sandbars.

Kind of crashed and burned last night due to my fucked up sleep routine and didn't wake up until a friend called this morning to chat.

Playing racquetball once we are both somewhat more awake and then just another day of banging keys on the keyboard.

Good Friday morning people. Gotta get some stuff finished up around here and then get to really start enjoy being in Chicago. Got some nice seats at the Cubs game tomorrow. Can't wait.

So many people up so early today. I was up really late just drinking and catching up and watching episodes 4 and 5 of John from Cincinnati. Those next two episodes were so much better than episode 3.

I woke up in a cleaning mood today |huh I mean a total spring cleaning so I really think I've lost my mind! Going to do a few things on line then dig back in.

Doing some cleaning as well as some shopping today. Getting ready for the WM Bash tomorrow. Had a hiccup on the house deal yesterday that took pretty much all day of hardball negotiations to solve. In the end it cost me a grand but the deal is ironclad now so I'm happy ;)
