Free Site Submission Software..

Hiya All...

I've been out of the biz for a little while and have decided to come back part-time....

Can anybody let me know what good free site submission software is available these days?

Thanks!

Mandy ;)

Fingers & Keyboard are probably your safest bet :)

Roboform - it's not free and it's not site submission software, but it might help you.

japamor 2007-07-30 11:23 AM

Yep, Roboform is great. There is a free, limited version, but its worth shelling out for the pro edition.

go for Roboform ! :)

I had a funny e-mail exchange with a submitter yesterday. I had declined his site because of blind links and he didn't capitalize the first letter of every word in the title (yeah, sounds petty, I know, but to me it's an easy way of filtering those who can't be bothered to read the rules).

Anyway, he e-mails me and asks why. I tell him and get the following reply: "Well with chameleon ll submitter I can't make every person happy."

The moral of the story is stay away from autosubmitting software, you'll more than likely make a lot of people unhappy. Even with something like Roboform you need to pay attention because it doesn't always get everything right.

I just have a list of Urls to click open in tabs for each recip table. From there I have iclip (mac program) that I setup a tab in that with all the information I'm going to paste into each text field. At time I paste and I have to edit to meet some of the rules. It's not the most exciting and maybe not the quickest way, but once you get into the groove it gets done.

Cheers,
Be

Hiya all

I must have mistyped my original post...

I'm not looking for Free Software, I'm more than happy to pay for it...
Nor am i looking for completely automated software. Basically I am looking for one which I can enter the details of the sites i want to submit to and it will hold the information for me and do some of my tables, the submission part I will do on my own...

I'm just looking to save a little time as I don't have much free time to get back into it with a full time job and study etc..

Must fix that sig!

Thanks!!

I just use a notebook page open with the title, url and description then go to each submit page and and copy and paste.

Once you built the tables you can just copy and paste the recips plus updating them lets say once a month, on html file you can save your submission list, on notepad your free site info and then using roboform to fill all the things and a lot of attention in all the work should bring some success |bananna|
just my 2 cents

I wonder if it'd be worth it to share this info with everyone :D

For those of you that missed the thread on Chameleon's Link List Submitter, you can read it here.

I just have a list of the submit pages to all of the LL's I work with in an email in my gmail. I open them all in separate tabs. Then in my FS excel sheet, I have the title, url, description etc.
I just copy it once from the excel sheet and go through the tabs pasting it into the right fields.

It takes some getting used to, especially when you add a new LL and need to get used to that particular interface, but I've found that once you submit a couple of times, it's real easy to find the right fields and do this relatively quickly.

Do you want the info on the "1" that I have that actually can use it properly or the 30-40 or so that I have blocked from submitting so far? :D

Give me a week to think about that. I might have an idea on how to catch them in the act :D
