Is this content theft??

I know nothing about straight content so don't recognise the titles but this blogger is offering free full length downloads, seems a bit suspicious in a blog?

http:// bestamateur.biz

I have made it not clickable in case it is theft, so the owner doesnt see the referring url!

Odds are it is content theft.

Since it's not your content, all you can do is find out who's it is & let them know.

You can try to contact the host as well - both of bestamateur.biz as well as the domains they are linking to that have the content on them - and let them know they are probably hosting a content thief.

I've alerted BabyDollPictures/KBeech, Swank Digital, Smash Pictures, and Critical X about the films that belong to them. Let's help this improves my porn karma.

Great! I wasnt sure but giving away that much content on a blog seemed very suspect to me. How do they sleep at night?

They'd have to feel guilty in order to lose sleep.

I afraid that we can't do much in this case, since all of the links are at some 3rd party hosting (rapidshare and megaupload), so they may just be collecting links and posting them...

marcjacob 2007-08-10 10:39 AM

The studio can send some notice i think, DMCA? Ive heard that Rapid Share are not too great at responding to these things though. On another board i post at, Studios are constantly saying that they are flighting a loosing battle with these scum bags.

The site hosting the links can be taken down. Also, these are major studios. If anyone can convince RapidShare to remove the content, it would be them.

I believe Rapidshare is administered/operated from Germany? I'm surprised as I heard the Germans were cracking down on this sort of thing.

Its just what ive heard, no personal experience. Im told they are slow to do anything at all. I think the other problem is that you can fight individual files but Rapid Share is full of this stuff and they dont seem to proactively fight it, whereas they should imo as the hold responsibility for what their members are sharing imo. If it was illegal porn and they "turned a blind eye" they would be prosecuted i would hope. Sorry this stuff makes me so angry |banghead|

The problem is also that when this site will be taken down, 3 new ones will arise. You cannot really stop p2p and sites like this one. And believe me, this blog was nothing compared to some larger warez forums out there (with passwords to different member's areas and access to hundreds of adult dvds and xvids). I really wonder why paysites don't check who is logging to their accounts more regularly. They could bottleneck sites like this one if they would check whose passwords are stolen/cracked. The passwords would stop working (they can disable them) and people couldn't download their movies and upload it to rapidshare anymore. Just a thought ...

i agree. blog is just a small piece. warez forum is a just another medium to spread links.. only few forum has a download feature. rapidshare totally nailed copyright materials. you dont need any client software to download. just a browser and few clicks!
