Does Your Link List Link To Blogs? From Where?

Personally I find blogs really boring including mine.

I don't link to blogs at the moment, but I have a re-do in the works for september and I will have somewhere to put them. Not sure yet how but I have some ideas.

I have a spot to list blogs on my link list page. It has link lists, blogs, tgp's and directories, although i haven't had anyone submit a blog :)

Yes, I have a blog page, but I don't take normally submits through my script for it though. (anyone interested can send me a PM )

IMO, I prefer not to confuse the issue by mixing two different site types in the same fetish category.

Yes, I list blogs on both triplexworld.com and easyxrated.com. Blogs on triplexworld.com go on one single page (not categorized although I wish I had made cats for blogs now...), and on easyxrated.com blogs go in the niche specific cats.

My link list no, my directory yes in the appropriate category.

I have a blog cat on We-R-Sex, but from the number/quality of submits I get I might as well not bother.

A suggestion for the link lists which want more blogs submitted to them would be to mention blogs in your rules, and offer bloggers a recip which is just a simple 2-4 word text link that can be added to the sidebar on a blog.

I think some bloggers don't submit blogs to link lists because they're not sure they can (based on the rules page) and because they don't want to add a bunch of big recip buttons to their blog.

(Sure, I know it's not that hard to contact the link list owner and ask, but I'm talking about making things more blogger-friendly if you want more blogs submitted.)

Maybe there are other reasons that more blogs don't get submitted to link lists, so perhaps someone else will offer ideas about this.

That'd be too much work for me to setup the way I want. So, no, I don't link to blogs... yet. :D

Well, I have been taking blogs on tripleXworld.com from 2005 until now and I just counted them. I have 27 blogs listed.

Maybe it's that most bloggers assume LL's won't take them and don't bother trying to submit them to any linklists. From what I can tell, most of the larger LL's never really made the change to start taking them. Some did of course.

I have a number of blog categories. Also use some blog feeds.

There are a number of reasons I don't submit my blogs to link lists but the biggest one is I don't know who takes them and who doesn't.

A blog category does me no good. Your porn surfers are looking for their favorite perversion not for blogs.

Those that put blogs in their porn categories...ok that's good for me for a couple days...then what. Free site builders have submitted more free sites but I get no credit on your link list for updating daily

For UW who allows daily submission of blog posts...I personally just cant discipline myself to submit daily even though I know there would be a bigger benefit for my blogs in doing so. For the other bloggers, call it a social bookmarking site. They will submit daily to those but won't be bothered if you call it a directory. (I know first hand, I started a blog directory that accepted posts...its now collecting dust.)

I list blogs, in the category they pertain to :) Have done for a while, and currently have less than 10 blogs listed.

I take blogs at quirkysex.com within categories - there's a separate "type" for blogs.

Walrus is right, of course. It would be nice to be recognised for the fact that the blogs are updated regularly. The only solution I can think of is to have blogs on category pages but listed separatedly from the other links. Not sure how to do that.

re submitting blog posts... I should do it. But I'm pressed to find the time to even write the bloody things LOL My blogs have mulitplied, even though I didn't want that to happen.
