Another fun filled day in the neighborhood...

House sitting my former neighbor's place while A/C people replace the bedroom's A/C. Hopefully the WiFi is still working so that I can use my laptop and get some work done while sitting over there.

Downloaded NeoOffice this morning and going to see if it really can replace my old version of Office or not.

Today is a public holiday in England. |bananna|
However when you work for yourself, you don't get public holidays off. |verysad

Morning from Vegas, we have had a LONG ass week and still have 10 days to go... actually 2 weeks to go, but who is counting?

Morning.. we had THUNDERboomers this morning starting around 3am.. i figured it was just Torn and Kat getting their "freak" on.. |boobies|

The down side was all their "motion" knocked out my freaking power and cable until about an hour ago.

We are off shortly to register the rugdawg for his college course work for this year..I think he's taking English Lit II and something Sciency. What do i know I just give them my Visa card ... and he does all the work.

And we are back from Gamma Knife Surgery. The boss neurosurgeon of 5 damn doctors said that it went perfectly. The only problem was that when they first mounted the frame and did the mri, they found out that the Gamma Knife couldn't hit both eyes. So, they had to remount it and do another mri. Remember, the frame is bolted to the skull so that part sucked. Oh yeah, they also had to paralyze her eyes and that also paralyzed her eyelids and the ability to focus. So, for about 6 hours, she was blind. That part sucked too. But, the treatment itself was nothing.

Anyway, I have been up since about 12:30 AM and my wife is sleeping. I think I may take a nap. :)

I talked to myself and poooof, it is done. I was up all night yesterday not knowing when can the neighbor take me to th capital to tests, treatments and other funny stuff and decided to spend the rest of the day in bed. |waves| Just got up to have some soup and approve submissons.

afternoon everyone. Been coding away today. Between last night and today got some good stuff done. Finished up nice submit form with captcha stuff on it. So after that just need to make the front-end to display things and beta version of my homemade linklist software will be done. :)

Going to start training for a half marathon today I've been informed. Will get rid of this mini beer belly I got going on from so much baseball and beer drinking.

I've heard that getting that damn frame aligned correctly is the worst part. But that blind for 6 hours part doesn't sound like fun either.

Evening all...

Back from a week with Momzilla...damn glad she's doing better, but sheesh she kept me busy with mom chores all week |dizzy|

Anyway...it's back to slingin and geekin...have a great week all!

It seems to be going around. We found out my dad has prostate cancer just last week. 4 months of not being able to pee and having them say it wasn't too serious only to find out it was cancer. And he's only 52.

Between that, getting a partial root canal that became infected and getting blood work and prozac and going through a custody battle, my life is quite hectic.

The prozac helps though :)
