I'm just dipping my toe into Google AdWords and was wondering if anyone has a promo code. If so, is this something you can do as an affiliate or something. After I sign up, will I be able to provide promo codes?

Yeah I guess. It's not how I use adwords, but they have a section for building links for referrals, not just for adwords, but for adsense as well. I'm assuming these could be useful if you have some kind of how-to type of site about mainstream affiliate marketing?

Unless I am mistaken, you can only use the promo code for new customers. The landing page for the link above says 50 dollar credit for new customers only.

Ahh...cool. I just wondered because when I got to the Accounting page it asked for a promo code after entering my billing info. Being someone who likes to help those who help me, I didn't know if I could get someone a commission by using "their" code (like affiliate stuff). Moot point anyway, now - I've already signed up!! But thanks for the clarification.

Ahh ok. I think you meant referrals maybe? "When a referral connects a user to AdSense, AdWords Picasa, Google Pack or Firefox, Google pays the publisher."

If you would of signed up under someone's referral code that was promoting the products, they would get a cut.
