Yesterday was a day for sure. 3 doctor's appointments and trying to find my wife's medication. I ordered it from our local Rite Aid pharmacy Thursday and they treated it like I ordered some clothes. I went to pick it up yesterday and was told it was backordered. Anyway, I am supposed to be able to pick it up today at a small family run pharmacy. As always, I will believe it when I see it.

Sorry but I needed to vent a bit. :)

Good Morning. Off to Buffalo in a couple of hours to see the Bills home opener. Hopefully the rain stays away. Either way I know we'll have a good time.

Not sure what I'm doing up this early since I went to bed rather late.

Watched the movie Laurel Canyon last night. Kind of reminded me of my own life in that in a kind of surreal way.

Playing racquetball once the both of us are vertical and then going to continue my quest to master Final Cut Express. Yesterday I used Final Cut Express to chop up my fist movie only to discover that I had fucked up a setting and all the clips were distorted making everyone in them look like dwarfs.

A day of shopping. My better half is going to drag me to the mall, but then I have the afternoon off for some football:)

It's been raining all morning here and I'm hoping it'll keep up all day. Right now it's cooling things off and the rain has a nice, fresh smell to it.

Jim, boy do I know what you mean about pharmacies/pharmacists at the chain stores. One time we were waiting at home for prescriptions to be filled at the local CVS/Pharmacy and I left to pick them up after verifying they were ready. It's maybe a 5 minute drive, including time to park. But by the time I got there the pharmacist had already left for the day and locked up all the filled prescriptions waiting for pickup in a metal cabinet. And the manager on duty didn't have a key to that cabinet. Really pissed the pharmacist off to get a call at home from the store manager at 7:30pm and have to get in the car and drive back. I don't think I made many friends that night but we really needed a couple of those meds.

Damn, guess I needed to vent a bit too.

Oh well... wishing a damn fine first day of the weekend to any and all who want one.

Getting ready to go put in my 5 hours at the Palms VMA check in. I think I need to hide a camera in my phat folds. :D yes it is a couple of hours early but parking is a Biatch.

I worked most of the day yesterday, sitting up that long made for a painful night but it sure felt good to get back to work.
Jim my wife has had to drive an hour away to get meds for her Aunt, living in a small town does has some disadvantages.
