Decided to Steal & Alter some of our content, sadly when I do a "Whois" lookup on Godaddy & Directnic I cant get this pricks info.

It's as if the domain expired but cant be bought yet, but hasnt died yet either.

I cant remember for the life of me the url for the main lookup so I can pin this little bitch to the wall.

Any help?

Yeah true, but you have to look at it this way, if one is so fucking stupid that they steal content to begin with, you certainly cannot expect one to actually know who owns what sites as well.

I like HQ Host and I use it for my sites. It has great support and it's really of high quality. I don't see the reason to ban this host. If some cheaters use it - ban them, but why to ban the host?

To ban one of the best hosts - it's cheating.

I think I have to agree with this. There are probably some people just like Yahook who use this host who are honest webmasters, working their butts off who will be adversely affected because of a few jerks.

I guit building free sites cuz I got tired of all the crap. It didn't take long to realize that a lot of ll's are set up to minimize the possibility of submitters making a sale. The shit some sites get declined for just absolutely floors me. Don't get me wrong, there are some great lists out there to submit to. But sometimes you need to quit beating your head against a brick wall, cuz it really does feel good.

My thoery is very simple:
If I think my visitors will enjoy your site, and you're not doing anything blatently wrong, I will list it, and I will send you some quality search engine traffic. If I decline your site (you'll get an email), just ask and I'll politely tell you why.

So, there is a number good posters host their sites there. I'm worry about them.

So what do you suggest? Banning host is a VERY effective way to stop the cheaters. I don't want to waste hours reviewing galleries that are re-directing..

I contacted a host about a guy re-directing, first on icq, they just told me to mail abuse so I mailed abuse, that's over one month ago, haven't heard back and the guy is still there.

Nige - the host is not going to care if the webmasters domains/sites are redirecting.

Why? Is it not in their best interest not to allow it?

Nige, you should ban the webmaster (it's own info) but not the host. Because if you ban the host you automatically ban the other honest webmasters who submit their sites from this host.

DD, you've said that you banned this host, but I didn't find any information about this on your submit page. Is this honest? - I don't think so.

And how do I do that? New domains, e-mail address and ip-adresses all the time, makes it pretty hard to ban them.

Banning an entire host because of a couple cheaters is extreme...

But, hey, if it's your link list, you do what you want.....
