What type of banners IF ANY do you use in your promotions of Adult Sites?

all of the above, but i'm looking into adding some more text ads to phpadsnew soon..

I choose "all text" as I do run a link list, but I knwo that when I do make sites or galleries, I have a picture in my head as far as how the pages will look & then I do my best to find banners that will "fit" my brain fart designs :)

90% text...I only use some small or odd size banner to balance a page that would look funny with out something else in a particular place.

I use odd banners and love if they have a magazine type banners. I also often chop up their FPA and use pieces of it as background images and such, like on this gallery of mine, http://kinky-cleo.com/porn/babe/brun...mbs/index.html

Nearly text all the time for galleries. When I make free sites, then a regular banner for the index and just about anything else throughout the site but always lots of text.

ALL shapes, but always supported with text.

and if not Text alone.


John, BTW I almost rejected a site today promoting ExtremeP - reason.. multiple 70K banners! Appears some webmasters just chuck up the banners they think look good.. without checking.;( .. and you guys have some big-ass banners :D

I use a combination. It depends on how my design is laid out and what fits in best but I do try to stick to text as much as possible... even though writting it isn't my strong point.

Dave I agree, and it pisses me right the F%$# off, no worries though I pleasently grabbed our Graphic Team Leader and had a special and pleasent proffesional descussion in regards to this issue just now :)

I had been using banners, but lately I have been using more and more txt only, just so that the search engines would have something to do when do visit the page.

I use normal and oddsize banners.

I'm starting a linklist site soon and there i will be using a few banners. If i get as many visits as GG does on his link-o-rama I guess I wouldt only use txt links :D

Pretty much all text. A few banners on my LL, but that is new. Text only has been my thing for years ; )

I've always wised that the sponsors would also offer the banners as layered PSD files for folks like me that often grab a bit of this banner and a bit of that banner to make up my own custom banners.

I use a variety, but I do like text links that say 'click on this link' or something similar, just to make it clear to the surfer what they are supposed to do |jester|

I usually use odd sized banners and half page ads with text wrapped around them.

I too have noticed that most of the Extreme Paychecks banners are huge - but it's still my all time favorite sponsor! ;)
