Blacklist Help!
 

Hi,
When i'm moving my sites to another server, my sites are 404 error for a couple of hours.
My sites are working fine now. My domain is blacklisted now.
www.xxxnude.org

What can i do about this case?

It may sound harsh, but buy a new domain & don't let me know it's yours.

This is strike 2 for you - I'm not a big believer in 3rd chances.

You are also on my private ban list for 404 sites. You are probably on lots of ban lists then.

I understand you... But this is not my fault. It's only a server problem! I didn't cheat you. My first blacklist reason is "Templates", but this time is different! This is a Hosting fault...
If i were blacklisted for "Templates" second time, you're totally right...

I've moved servers twice in the last year & I'm not on any blacklists for 404 or redirects.

Seeing as your files were not up on the new server before you changed the DNS it's no ones fault but your own.

If you owned a grocery store & had to move to a new location, would you open the new store when you had all your stock at the old one?

No, it's not true... I changed DNS, when i moved my sites totally to the new server. This is only server problem. I don't know what happened in the new server, but i didn't do anything. This was a surprise for me! I was shocked... I moved to the new server for a good and fresh start but i'm blacklisted at first day!

If i'm blacklisted for templates reason for 2nd time, i won't write on board for it... Because, i know that you don't give 3rd chance. But this was a totally different situation. I just want to ask it!|sad|

Remember, you had some link list script problems a couple of months ago. It was your fault? NO... you were innocent. and me too!

Cohiba - was all the data on your domains moved from the old server to the new one before you put in the change of DNS request?

YES!!! I have uploaded all data before i put in the change of DNS request.

So why were the sites missing?

When i noticed that problem, i contacted with support of my new hosting company. But those guys told me that they will work on that problem.
That's all!

So your hosting company is working on the problem of your sites going 404 every now & then?

I think you need to go to you host &ask them to tell you EXACTLY what happened.

Hmmm, Isn't it the webmaster's responsibility to manage their html files and the host's responsibility to manage the server?

If you are going to have your host manage your server and your html files then maybe they could do your submits for you too?

GG, My sites are working fine now and of course i want a report from my host. But they didn't get back yet...


Cleo, you must be kidding. I did all i can do as a webmaster. Hosting company has to do somethings for a webmaster. I hope you won't have any hosting problem in the future.
