sitting at 1000 hits daily

i run www.tightteela.com and i'm sitting at about 1000 hits daily, wondering if there are others out there with new sites and what your daily hits are, and if they are much higher than mine, any advice on what i could try?

I'm no expert, but I think you need to be a little more agressive with your affiliate program. If you don't have a traffic source prior to launching your program, then a good place to get traffic would be your affiliates.

That being said, on your back-end (through Epoch) you have no hosted galleries and no banners. It makes it difficult for your affiliates to push hits to you with no tools to work with.

Designs for gallery templates aren't that expensive and Epoch would even handle the affiliate code passing on those.

Those aren't gaurenteed solutions, but it's a good place to start. I hope that helps. :)

Oh, and a webmaster referral program wouldn't hurt either. You can set that up in Epoch as well. Offer like a 5% bonus if your affiliate refers more affiliates and that could help build your affiliate army. :D

Make that a lot more aggressive with the ENTIRE program.

Teela,
As Preacher mentioned, you have zero promo material for webmasters to promote your site. Any attempt to get promo material from you results in an email saying to get it from the site. How is any Webmaster supposed to do that without signing up for a membership? That’s not going to fly with to many webmasters.

Your program is revshare and webmasters want to see lots of rebilling. Now this is just my opinion but I don’t think your site will keep members longer than a month. From what I have seen, you only update the site with new movies 2 times a month. I’m guessing once a week or more would be better.

You also need more interaction with your members. If you want to retain them you have to interact. I would suggest doing a live web cam show for about an hour at least once a week. Talk to them. Let them get to know you and you get to know them. Give them a little sex toy action and keep them drooling. Get some suggestions for upcoming movies that they would like to see.

I could ramble on some more but I think you see where this is going. Time to get busy and market your site. :)

TightTeela 2007-10-17 04:30 AM

both of you, thanks for the advice

Tommy 2007-10-17 10:46 AM

I would send you a little traffic if you had some promotion materials

I have gone to the signup page a few times but ........

TightTeela 2007-10-17 06:40 PM

i am going to be busting my ass over the next while to get all the promo things i need, and as maj.stress pointed out, yeah there has been times when updates were slow and/or delayed, however there has been 4 video updates this month so far, and in total there are currently 10 picture sets and 40 videos, so things are moving along. and tommy thanks for your help as well.

Ramster 2007-10-18 08:15 AM

Hosted Galleries! You need those for Tommy and others to list and that will get your traffic up.

LowryBigwood 2007-10-18 09:44 AM

What everyone else already said (promo materials) and also answering your emails from webmasters who want to promote your site. I sent one email when I first saw your program asking about promo, some guy replied to get what i needed out of members area. Then, I replied asking for username/pw to get promo but never heard anything back.

Tommy 2007-10-18 10:34 AM

its a little early for numbers but
I signed up yesterday and threw up a rotating text link, really just to help a pretty girl out. I wasnt expecting anything

BUT so far...
in a little less then 24 hours or so, i am 2 in 288 ... not bad,

Bobc01 2007-10-18 10:41 AM

No SEO then?

hosted gallerys arent gonna really do anything for me

i got so many gallerys in my database adding 30 or 100 gallerys is like spitting in the ocean

its hard to premote small sites

TightTeela 2007-10-18 05:24 PM

tommy thats awesome, thank you. anyone else, i am working on movie fhg's now

walrus 2007-10-18 07:35 PM

Since I'm the blog whore anyway....

As Maj. Stress said, interaction is the key both with members and surfers.

Therefore I'd recommend a blog. A daily journal into your life whether boring or chock full of nasty details from your last members area shoot.

Beaver Bob 2007-10-18 10:32 PM

yea you should start a blog where you talk about what you did that day and whats in your site for members.. like when you do cam shows. put up little picture samples on it. make it available to your affiliates.

tony 2007-10-24 04:08 PM

Give some promo materials ( banners and some free content ) and I will be more than happy to send some traffic to your site ;-)

Tommy 2007-10-24 09:54 PM

you guys need to cut her a bit of a break on the promo materials
I think she is still working a full time job and since she wasnt born rich I beleive she doesnt really have much money or time left over for promo materials

think about when you guys started out and you had to juggle paying for hosting and rent, food and car repairs. stuff tends to happen slowly

i was really turned off by the lack of promo materials etc etc
but when ever i see a webmaster in this position i always think back to when I was fixing elevators and was struggling to get my sites going

I am sort of shocked at how good the site does convert. for now just do what I did and throw up a few text links and see what comes in the mail

TightTeela 2007-10-25 01:31 AM

you guys are welcome to pm for passes for the time being if needed, and yeah its a part time job i work at as well, but i am getting promo stuff done, first up is movie fhg's since thats what i get asked the most for, anything specific, again pm me and i'll add it to my list for you

Simon 2007-10-25 07:29 AM

Others may be able to advise you better on this, but you may want to start with more picture galleries than movie galleries. I'm suggesting this mostly because if you wind up with a lot of TGP/MGP sites listing your movie galleries, you could wind up with a much larger bandwidth bill than you're used to.

One option might be to have the usual free hosted photo galleries and then offer just the templates for movie galleries which webmasters can download along with downloading some of your movie clips. That way anyone who really wants to use movies can do that, but they'd be hosting the movie clips themselves.

Hey Tommy,

Can you give us an update on how well the site is converting for you? I put up some links yesterday and will soon send some more traffic her way...

Licker4U 2007-10-25 01:45 PM

I signed up, looked around a bit and exited the site. Now I can't find the webmaster area. Is there a link somewhere on your main page that I missed? All I see is the join link, e-mail support and billing support links. Maybe I'm just old...

Nevermind, I got the e-mail with my affiliate info and a link to the webmaster area. |pokefun|Licker4U

TightTeela 2007-10-25 06:05 PM

yeah simon, i need more pictures as well, i don't know why, but i get into doing the videos more, i'm guessing just because there's more interaction, and i want to get in better shape, maybe bigger boobies :)

and pixx, i work at a restuarant, if your in town, you can drop by, if you come by the apartment, its usually xbox time or doobie time.

Beaver Bob 2007-10-25 09:02 PM

I was going to suggest you get more pics for your members area. If nothing else they are great for promo content. I took a good look around, I have a few other suggestions I'll pm you later.

Thanks Tommy for reminding those of us that still have two irons in the fire that everyone started somewhere. I’ll add TightTeela to my promo list tonight. |thumb

TightTeela: What happened to the ccbill affiliates?

Started promoting the site, made some galleries, free sites and some links on one site, all using the ccbill code. This is close to one year ago, maybe 10 months, I got a pass to get content from the members area, and use it for promotion. Now, it looks like the ccbill is not even an option, and I know the pass to members area was disabled quite some time ago. Checking my ccbill account, there are still hits sent daily.

Anyway, I am wandering what happened to the old affiliates using the ccbill codes?
