Should We Lower Our Prices?
 

I've asked on the other boads so I might as well ask here.

I was thinking of doing a new toon site with really low signup prices but everyone has told me don't do it. Actually told me to use higher prices.

The logic being that a high price on a porn site registers as quality to a surfer whereas a low price suggests otherwise.

absolutely. as long as your tour has quality content worthy of the higher price.

I want to raise my prices. $25 a month is tooooooo cheap for a membership now. Especially with the US dollar so bad.

Are you talking about the trial or full membership price?

Trials should always be nice and low. But, full memberships have been at a stagnant price for far too long with a lot of programs. All you can do is raise the price, see how it effects your signups an go from there. You can always lower it again.

I am studying marketing at the moment and I totally agree with that statement. Actually I was thinking very often already about posting a thread about that but I have had no time left yet.

I recommend you to go to the library and get some basic marketing books to understand the theory behind that.

Of course if your members area is crap and your content is of low quality you cannot ask a premium price. But with exclusive quality content you could chagre $50 per month and people would still buy it.

Well you'll all be happy to know that every message board I'd posed the question to was met with resounding 'no' don't lower prices but instead raise them.

My profit margin is extremely high like 98%. I make my own content is why. Here, lemme show you how I use toons to promote.

I use toons to promote my site or affiliates I use. They've always been so successful I just left them up and totally forgot how successful they were.

Been doing major revamps and applying recommended pro strategies this month.

I think you guys are right. Maybe raising prices would really rock sales up.
