All submitted sites that remain up and rules compliant will stay listed forever.

Hi guys. Apart from being old, fat and ugly everything is fine! :D

I've just reached a level of frustration (other small LL owners may know what I'm talking about) that I need to take a break before something snaps. Rather than just let submissions pile up I thought it would be more honest to shut down for an indeterminate time.

Shame.
Best of luck with whatever it is that's causing that frustration, and a big thanks for all the listings so far.

Sorry to hear about that Lemmy, but yep, I feel your pain! (about the LL, not the old fat and ugly, although sometimes...:D) Good for you for being honest instead of just leaving it all up and not updating.

I've been thinking about closing submits to my smallest LL's also. Not sure why I haven't done it already. It just takes too much time to maintain them for the money they bring in.

And Lemmy, you might want to change your sig :D

Sorry to hear that Lemmy, but glad all is well otherwise. Gotta say I don't really understand the rush of fairly new people in the biz to open LL's, as you say it is definitely frustrating. Sad to see your more established lists leave the scene.

Must agree with you on that score Sheepguy, every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to open a link list.

I realtively new and want to open a link list. AMF, Lemmy I believe mentioned a while back that I should do just that as it takes a while to get it going. I do think there are probably too many list, but OTOH, more list would generate more traffic over time, or so it seems.

Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong, I do hope the newbies starting list aren't making life too difficult for the established list.

That sucks man, gonna have to change my recips up. I can see where having to run three of those fuckers could get to you :) I've had mine going for coming up on 10 months and I personally enjoy it still. I think with me only taking movie submits it cuts out alot of the shit head lamers. Hope you can figure something out to get them going again.
