Submitting to your own link list
 

When I submit my sites to my list, would it be best to have a clean version, or should I put it up with recips as submitted to other list?

Put your recip in the recip table with the rest - most LL's have no problem with this as long as the freesite is listed on your LL and sends traffic back to them. One or two LL owners see this as another outgoing sponsor link so cut back an add on the index page if this becomes a problem.

I just treat my LL the same as the other LL's. I put up the recip in the recip table and submit the site through the submit form...

Or use clean versions for less traffic leaks.

Ah, that's what I was getting at. If you're submitting to your own list, why give away traffic?

I submit my sites to my own link lists thrue the regular submit page nd with the recips on it and use a clean version for my hub.

This is what I do. I have a page with my clean, recip free sites that others can use if they need to fill in bare catagories and I use those for my link list.
