has anyone setup sms on icq it seems like it could be a cool feature for weekends or when your away etc etc

I have AIM, Y! and MSN Messenger on my phone...

I never connect to them anymore though. What I learned was I'd only connect when I was waiting for something from a client or boss. Sometimes it's just nice to be unavailable. |goodnight

I use SMS on my phone all the time.

Interesting thought. Might be a good idea to set up for my phone when I'm away.

so you have to set it up on the phone or in icq ??

It's like email. Type something and hit send. It then asks for the address. If someone sends you one you can just hit reply.

To send one to a cell phone the address is their phone number.

I have AOL on my phone & I think they allow you to put ICQ contacts on there.

As far as whatever you're trying to do....no :D

i just have sms on phone. we're using different tools for our communications.
