My first FS on the US market
 

Hi everyone,

I'm glad to post my first message on this board! Let me introduce myself: I'm Geoff, a french webmaster, and I'm starting to do business on the us market. I have a bunch of free sites in french and I've already posted 4 free sites in english:

I would be grateful if you would give me any comments, good and bad about my work. The rules are a bit different here so I want to set everything up asap.

I have another question for you guys: one link list refused my fs because it was considered as a "doorway" (or something like that)... What's that? |confused|

By the way, if you have any tips on how to use (well) chameleon LL submitter I'm interested!

On the first freesite you linked to you have a broken recip image.
He wanted to be on an index instead of keyword.html
Don't or you'll get blacklisted for auto-submitting, its in the rules.

Also, I'm not sure if linklist owners will have a problem with the .fr domain and the hidden whois is definitely going to be a problem.

What if you use the manual submit, follow the rules and submit quality sites?

If you do all of that, why use chameleon? Roboform will do pretty much everything except give you a huge list of LL's ,most of which aren't worth submitting to.

Hey Sheep I was thinking it useful for the recip building methods and the updated rules. IM not pushing for it, and in no way am I associated with or have I used CS..just wondering why there is issue with CS if a webmaster can use its capabilities within the individual LL's guidelines and the manual submit is utilized..whats the harm?..I mean if roboform does the same thing why isnt anyone against roboform?

Thanks for your answers guys. It's very helpful. I think I'll use the manual submission on CS. I don't wanna be blacklisted already. The thing is, CS appears very efficient for getting updates and recips for someone like me who doesn't know anything about the us market. I've seen that a great part of LL's linked on CS don't worth it... Where can I get a good list of LL's?

Thank you Presmar. About my templates, I have translated my french FS into english. I've spent much time working on the texts instead of creating new diz. I'll work on new templates as soon as I can.

I wonder what difference it makes, having one's recip in a "doorway" folder or a "doorway" html page. They accept doorway folders with index.html but not keyword.html submissions |dizzy|
