I need some advice on Dreamweaver!
Hey guys. I'm still using HTML or XHTML its okay I GUESS. I know how to do HTML I just like the simplicity of making additions to the my site and how easy it is to change things around; ie making tables n etc. any ways does anybody know of any other possibly free or cheap programs that are a bite simpler and perhaps better then dreamweaver. I sometimes experience some problems on it. (Im running Windows XP Home Edition.)
Thanks In advance |
You might look at Namo Web editor. Lots of features, low price.

read this thread, it is about free html editors for linux and mac, but a lot of them are also available for windows. Good luck. |
I'm confused. You need help with dreamweaver or are you looking for something free to replace dreamweaver? Or are you looking for something that is just cheaper to replace dreamweaver but doesn't need to be free?

Nvu is an open source product for MS, Linux and Mac. It was abandoned but re-started as Kompozer. Do a google look up. For free, it is a good basic WYSIWYG editor.

I use Nvu also . It works pretty good and the price is right :)

Home Site is good and cheap and if you already know Dream Weaver then the learning curve will be small

If you have access to a library getting a book on Dreamweaver and reading up on it really helps to understand the software & it's abilities.

Dreamweaver is very good software , you just need to read manual. They have every detail described very well .
