xxx_robots.txt
While looking at my stats log I noticed a search for xxx_robots.txt. Has anyone else seen this? Is this some new file to use for robots for adult sites? |huh
|
I looked at 4 different domains and found one hit to xxx_robots.txt on one of my oldest domains have no idea what that's about|huh

I noticed quite a few in my 404 logs, not sure where this comes from.

Same situation here.. and no clue what's that..

My theory is that someone or something is searching for peoples' old robots.txt files. I have no idea why one would do that, but I'm sure it's not a good thing. Prefixing an old file with 'xxx_' or 'xxx-' or 'old_' or 'old-' is pretty common.

Seems to be someone looking to get recognition for the file
