Adultfriendfinder is a HOAX!

I've send those guys a lot of my traffic and guess what they just mailed me...

Code:

Dear Affiliate,

A recent analysis of your traffic indicates your performance has fallen below the requirements of the Pay Per Click (or Per Member) program.  In accordance with Section 5 of the Affiliate Network Agreement, you have been converted to the percentage program.  In order to ensure a win-win situation for both ourselves and our affiliates, we reserve the right to convert affiliates whose traffic falls below certain minimum performance requirements. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Best Regards

They have removed all of my earnings for 3 months! Over 600 USD! |angry|

Isn't there any way I can still make them payout my money?

If there isn't then I would like to suggest to ALL webmasters out there to stop sending that scum traffic |club|

Useless 2007-12-20 07:23 PM

I hope you aren't looking for sympathy. AFF has been known as scum for quite awhile.

The money will be paid out over time, in the sense that the percentage program gives you ongoing recurring cuts....

So...pull the links and wait for the cheques...

RageCash-Ben 2007-12-20 08:26 PM

on the odd chance AFF responds to this thread I would like to personally thank them for supporting torrent sites - www.btmon.com AFF ads for 6+ months

JustRobert 2007-12-20 10:35 PM

Not defending AFF in anyway at all, but I believe this is stated in their TOS or requirement section. They were nice to promote before all the crap/greed rose to the top.

Bobc01 2007-12-21 03:24 AM

lol the chances of anyone seeing an AFF rep are zero, just in the same way you won't see an Iwantu rep anymore as they know they'd get attacked.
When you're earning the kind of cash they are you tend not to give a shit what reputation you have or who's complaining.

Bin their links and try a more reputable sponsor. :)

Me either & I agree. This is the reason you don't see a lot of Pay Per Click programs anymore - they're not that profitable & very easy to cheat or manipulate or blindlink or whatever. I have the feeling that the few programs that still offer PPC do so on the off chance that someone with really great traffic will use that option. Those with average or below traffic are switched to revshare once it's realized their traffic is not worth what they are paying out

I do love AFF's webmaster page that boasts up to $1.00 per click - lol - please don't tell me that you sent 600 clicks :D

A lot of the PPS programs have similar performance stuff buried in their TOS as well. If they think there is a problem, they will switch you to revshare.

What did you have your payout set as? I always place mine at either 50 or 100 dollars. Shouldn't you have already been paid a couple times before they switched if it was for 600 dollars?

I mean that's 6 pay periods I believe. Or more if they pay weekly. I forget I stopped promoting them awhile ago.

I needed a ePassporte account for a payout and I didn't had one yet. And a cheque will be stolen in the mail down here so that's no use... |dizzy|

@ Greenie: I didn't send 600 clicks, I just had a lot signups with 2 paid signups...

Do you guys know some nive sponsors that do payout? |huh

Linkster 2007-12-22 07:57 AM

IF youre looking for an actual PPS program - use FLING at BangBros - converts from free trials to paid pretty darn well for a dating program - however Ive found they are all about the same - but havent used AFF for a few years

r3n3gad3 2007-12-22 09:17 AM

Hi Linkster, if you can tell me how to signup in such a way so that they will send me my money to my paypal account I will signup using your ref link.

Linkster 2007-12-22 09:19 AM

If you find any adult sponsor that says they will send to a paypal account - run as fast as you can the other way - they are scammers and ripoff artists

So you're actually expecting $300 per signup? |huh

cosmiccat 2007-12-22 11:57 AM

I don't promote AFF. Haven't heard anything good about them. Word of mouth is huge is this biz.

koolkat 2007-12-22 02:49 PM

I got converted too, but i was still paid for my clicks and still get paid without any problem.

CeCash has it....

Triton2004 2007-12-23 05:15 AM

It's not a good idea to promote AFF...I promoted them (PPS) and I made only one sale...

If that doesn't convince you, nothing will!

Surprisingly, I did meet an AFF rep at the 2008 Webmaster East convention. Can someone point me in the right direction for other sponsors to avoid? Thanks.

So does DatingGold.com.

Hmm, this is very interesting. I'm working on a number of blogs and trying to figure out which affiliate programs are profitable and trustworthy is a major pain in the arse:(
