Our children and grandchildren are here so Christmas began last night :) Cooking and wrapping for today and tomorrow. It's almost here and over with.

Looks like about 4" of fresh powder on the deck. Looks like I'll be plowing most of the day.

Colds, the gift that keeps giving...
Up early due to a cold. I don't have a cold but Christine does. She came home real sick from work yesterday so we never went to the Winter Solstice Gathering last night. I'm guessing that I'll end up with her cold next.

No real plans for today other then work and errands.

I may try to get a little work done early this morning but then it's time to start thinking holiday thoughts and letting go of things for awhile. Or at least switching focus to tracking the last incoming gift packages.

Cooked 3 triple cheeseburgers for breakfast at 5 am. I think the smoking grill pissed off the neighbors. Fuck em, I could have shit in their yard.
Upgrading a couple of scripts, smoking a snack, and laying on the couch stoned all day is on the agenda.

Got home around 5am from my uh "solstice" celebration..Cold as a witch's tit here.. especially after they were dancing naked in the moon light.

Went to see the late show of Sweeney Todd.. a D grade horror film that got made into a Broadway show (with angela landsbury) and is now back to being a B+ grade horror film with a grayed out Johnny Depp. |thumb

PO and Palms today.. then tonight Chyna
and I are going to treat ourselves to dinner at the Melting Pot. Soo tomorrow I'll have a cheesy hangover.

Not much work here for me till after the Holidays either. My shopping is done and I'm glad as the last minute rush has started. You take your life in your own hands when going out! The traffic and the people are crazy.

Our grandson is bouncing off the walls knowing how close it is to the big night. My husband and I are worn out just watching him |dizzy|

Temperatures have been below zero (Celsius) the entire week. There's a nice layer of ice on our pond. we didn't have this kind of weather for a few years. I guess the documentary with Al Gore about global warming worked :)

Off to see some sports at the local bar now, should be fun.

It's actually warm here today & all the snow is melting, which means that we should have a lovely shade of brown all over when Santa comes to shit down my chimney.

Not much on the agenda for today - Sabres play tonight in Philly after coming from behind to beat them last night 3-2 - really good game too.

Morning all. Just got the first pot of coffee made and will relax and have a cup of that before moving more stuff from the old place into the new place. Also gotta run and get one thing real quick from target for part of an xmas gift. Later tonight going to an ugly xmas sweater party which should be fun up in Corona Del Mar.

Morning ...well afternoon all. Headed out to the Butchers to pick up Pork Tenderloin for Monday and Standing Roast (Prime Rib) for Tuesday. Have family coming in for two days - Im cooking both days. So its off the meat shop. Gonna try to squeeze a little work in before heading out for Carolling tonight.

Afternoon all, it's quite here and today that suits me fine. I'm not in working mode so i'm going to kick back, have a day off and take it easy.

My continuous ink system clogged up and I managed to break my fucking printer with my larger manly hands while trying to de-gunk it, so I'm pretty happy. Remember the good old days when printers would made out of plywood and cast iron?

It's Saturdeeeee, so I'll be heading out to have dinner with my parents later. That's always a fun time. My father is a miserable semi-abusive prick and my mother has been suffering from depression for the last 25 or so years, so they're an absolute hoot to hang out with.

A joyous whatever to all of you who don't have to spend a few hours with people who get angry when you swat their filthy cats off of the dinner table.

Like father like son eh UW lol
