Hi,

my hoster has shut down my domain pussy-well.com till 1:00 am GMT (8:00 pm New York) for using to much cpu time :-(

I got a spot at The Hun today and after 23k visitors they decided to suspend me for the rest of the day. My only hope is, the traffic from The Hun decreases from that time and the domain stays up. Never thought i would be afraid of to much visitors :-(

Hope this don't cause problems with my LL listings.

BTW, anyone knows an affordable hosting company where i don't run in such problems?

I won't delete your freesites but you might start thinking of changing hosts...

just want to let you know, domain is up again and my listing at The Hun is deleted :-( It shouldn't go down again as i'm back to normal traffic now.
Additionally i have asked The Hun to remove all my pending submission, so it should work for the future.

What a fiasco, finally getting listed at the biggest tgp and than the hoster suspends the domain |cry|

Only trouble is, i have to search for a hoster where i can put my submissions to the hun

Maybe you could use sponsor hosting for your hun submissions??

I think I'd still look for a new hosting company tho. Are you using virtual or dedicated and what are your bw requirements? What do you consider affordable?

At the moment i'm using a virtual server, servage.net, mainly for the cheap hosting and the overwhelming amount of traffic included. I started last year in the biz and the cash doesn't rush in yet, so i don't have much to spent on hosting and a dedicated server is far out of reach.

Last month i used up about 200GB bandwidth, and as long as i don't have 10k+ visitors a day my hoster seems ok, didn't had trouble till yesterday when my visitor count exploded.

If the Hun accepts sponsor hosting i will do this, especially as long as i don't get regular listed, would be a waste of money if the server only gets big traffic once or twice a month.

I don't post much here anymore but did notice your situation. I have been hosting with a company for quite a while with low cost great customer server. The guy is a friend of mine and will definatley work with you.

its Servage, they offer 360GB webspace, 3600GB (no typo) traffic/month.

As said earlier, when i reached 23k visitors in a few hours they closed my domain for the rest of the day, they freaked out by the page hits, which reached 500k+ at this time.

This weekend i got another listing at the hun, this time i stored the thumbs and pics on another server, only let the html code on servage and all ran smooth.

With my LL sites i only had trouble when they upgraded their clusters and it was unstable a for a few days.
