Server-side screenshot script
I'd like a screenshot script to run on a server (not PC desktop) that could create a screenshot of a web page when given the URL. Something like Websnapr or IWebTools but it doesn't need to service other users. If you know of a script that performs this function, please give me a shout. I'd prefer that it could run in a *nix server.

I don't know of one but it may be worth searching at www.hotscripts.com - I've found all sorts of useful stuff there at different times.

I assume that the misspelling of your name was a Freudian slip. Read this to get the joke. Horney |
Sheesh. I may not have used it if I'd known that. Counter-Freudian in her case and she was wearing the slip. ;) It was actually a typo when I signed up with another board, and I decided to keep it.
Which distro do you need the script for? Did you think of trying the distro's forum? Post the question and I have a feeling somebody will have come up with something. |
Take a look at this one. They seem to have some way to run server side.

Hey Useless
this is what Kaktus uses with Gallery scrapper you might be able to make it work. imagemagick |
I realize these are not stand alone scripts, but did you see the thumbshots site?
http://www.thumbshots.org/ Between their site and the script mentioned here: http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=127937 or there is also this site: http://thumbnailspro.com/ |
