I thought I'd get the thread started as I'm already up and about.

We had a wind storm wednesday, which dragged into thursday and took out the screen wall on the deck. Today I'm going to try and fix it in between freezing my ass off and dodging the rain. Just what I want on a saturday morning.

Finally the wind and rain and ice and snow has stopped here. We are supposed to have 2 days of only clouds and nice temps.... then Monday we are back to snow.

The Bitch & I are in Vegas |thumb Yesterday was kinda strange for us - we're usually able to stay up til a decent hour on the 1st day of a trip, but we found ourselves in the room by 9 & sleeping by 10 (which means we woke up at 6)

Saw Holly & Ram yesterday - gonna catch up with them as well as Useless, Preacher & the Lou's this afternoon (assuming we can stay awake)

Back from an early day trip to the grocery store. Almost more supplies than I could carry upstairs in one trip, but shouldn't have to restock for a week or more now.

It rained all day yesterday here and I found I really wanted to take a break for a bike ride when I couldn't do it. Looking forward to today's ride, but going to get a little work done first. I can ride during the OTB hour since MML won't be broadcasting 'live from Las Vegas.'

Wishing a good day to all, including you lucky bastards (and mrs bastards) already enjoying the gathering in the desert.

I have about a bazillion errands to run today, dropping off RugDawg for his Chemistry final. Heading the Orleans later after payroll is passed out to hang with whoever flows my way. |boobies|
