I Must Be Retarded

Ok so listen to this brilliant move I made tonight.

We were at walmart and saw a bad ass mountain bike with brake rotors and shocks, it was seriously the shit.

So as we're sitting there fucking with the bike I start to mess with the shifter. It clicks each gear and progressively tensions. When I get to 2nd gear I really needed to push..... so I pushed and all of a sudden my thumb touched my wrist. The damn thing popped out of socket and bent the wrong way.

Now I'm in pain and pretty upset with myself for doing it.

Hopefully it doesnt swell much more. |banghead|

Thats sucks
It sounds painful
Makes me cringe thinking about it

If you get injured at Walmart I highly recommend a tetanus shot :)

And if you buy anything, check for whip marks. Sometimes they miss the workers and damage the merchandise. |badidea|

I don't care how much they beat the help as long as it's cheap!

So you severely injured yourself while trying out a potentially defective and dangerous item recklessly on display in a WalMart store causing you mental anguish and severe pain and possibly lifelong physical disability?

Call a lawyer dude, you're set for life! :D

Dude walmart is wising up...around where I live, they're putting doctor's offices in the super-walmarts so they can "help those that need it and be better citizens in their community" but that's horse shit....that's so when something like this happens or a slip and fall, they get the doctor over there to check you out, give you some motrin and then get you to sign a waiver or whatever paperwork is needed to get walmart off the hook...those fuckers are smart that's why they're the kings of the world...I'll still shop there though...I just won't break my thumb while I'm doing it... =)

They built a Super Walmart within walking distance of my home. It has a McDonald's and a bank inside. I've only been there twice. Going on a Sunday afternoon is scary. I've never seen so many no teeth, banjo playing inbred drop outs in one place at one time.

I always feel dirty when I leave there.

Walmart bought Asda here, one of our biggest supermarket chains. They already had mcDonalds, pharmacies, dry cleaners and other non-Asda franchises in their stores. I wonder if that's where they got the idea? I don't think banks are allowed to open in such places, though.

Only been to a wallmart once in my life and I got asked to leave after I took one of their bikes for a ride around the store.

I wasn't going to read this thread because well I have my own reasons.. but now I see why balls_deep said he must be retarded. Going to walmart in the 1st place confirms it.

That's either a very tiny bike or you're a giantess Cleo!

For some odd reason I've never been to walmart. Oh yeah we don't have them over here.

Good luck with the thumb balls_deep
