My first 'Adult' site - Critique's Welcome.

Looks good, you have very nice content in there you might wanna focus a bit more on the design/CSS (thumb section) .......everything else looks good

I was surprised to see a TGP would have thought with a name like that it would have been a link list. That being said it looks nice man. Good luck heh ;)

Your ads could use some help, regular sized banners don't pull many clicks. You probably already know that.

Thanks for the comments guys :). It's my 'learning as I go site' so and I will look into different banner sizing asap, thank again :)

Ok now you know how to make a nice site now make another 999 of them like that and you'll make a reasonable living or you can bust you ass for the next year or so trading links with assholes to get some traffic and maybe a PR of 1 or 2.

The hard bit isn't designing a pretty site.

Sorry to sound cynical but I know that most new webmasters just drop out very disillusioned. Truth is, there are hundreds of thousands of beautiful sites with no traffic and many many crap sites with heaps of traffic.

My advice is, once you have a reasonable site don't obsess over it. Move on to traffic generation (which isnt much fun) and come back to site design later when you've got some surfers to convert.

Another note on this..

I don't think you should make your site look too good.

Take a look at the ol' link-orama.

You don't think the Green Guy wants his site to look better than his sponsors do you? But it looks damn interesting don't you think?

That's probably the most useful thing I've picked up in the short time I've been n this business. Sincere thanks.

Thanks for the comments Matt, very interesting points you make :) I'm starting to learn about generating traffic at this time, spend most the day reading and taking notes. I'm in this for the long haul so you're comments aren't read as cynical at all, it is refreshing to get un-sugarcoated responses to question :)

Mate it is sending conflicting messages - along the bottom you have banners for webmaster resource sites there is no need to carry such banners on a page unless you are trying to resell webmasters into a programme.

Design wise it looks good but no focus mate :)

Hi Smiths, thank you for the comments :) And yep I agree it is getting messy and has lost all it's focus as I try different things. I been up reading all night so off for some sleep now, I'll fix it up later:)

just move the webmaster stuff to another page, if you are going to push webmaster stuff worth looking at a seperate domain then everytime you have a project you can update one page and link back to that for webmasters

Hey pushcube, I very much like the look and feel of your site, but when I first clicked your link, your 'splash' page, or warning page, however you want to call it, you might want to give the visitor a better reason to click 'enter' because it doesn't really imply a adult site, i would guess it was warez lol, (google visitors tend to go for first impressions). Other then that, go for it dude. I like to see newcomers make good sites ;)
