How can you tell if your are getting hits from a hit bot...? And How can you stop it if you are...|confused|

I recommend you to use http://www.protect-x.com on your site(s). You can also check your traders in their database (you can do this also at http://www.cheaterhell.com for example).

If you want to block hits from bots or general unwanted traffic you may use .htaccess. Take a look at http://www.htaccesstools.com/block-hitbots/

Generally speaking, hitbot traffic will be very unproductive. Looks like you're using TTT for traffic trades. If a trade is sending you traffic but it's not clicking out, chances are it's hitbot generated.

I am using TTT from traffic trades but I cant get it to count the incoming hits

On my first traffic trading steps ever i used ttt too. I#m now using Smart Traffic Trader and am pretty happy with it. More options and better imo

Thanks for the feed back...I just changed my trader from cj to ttt and I have been thoght there fourm looking for help and tried all kinds of things to get it to work right.How is the Smart Traffic Trader fourm as for helping newbies like my self....I just thoght that they would want to help out so ther could get there skim....|crazy|

I'm using TTT on some of my TGP's, but it's a very old version. I couldn't get the newest version to work right. I installed Arrow Trader Lite III on one TGP and it seems to work fine. I'll be changing the rest over as I get the time.

Arrow Trader works very similar to TTT, and the integration with my gallery script was pretty easy too. Hit me up if you need help.

Well I have two tgp on the same host and I was having trouble getting the 2nd one up and going and after reading on ttt thats a bug that they have not fixed yet so I looking for something that i can run on the same host for two tgp.

house oftravis has traffic now but travistgp has no traffic is i could get a script to work with ct that would be great....
That was the one thing about this post that I started about hit bots
from stat counter im showing hits comimg in and I see whats going out on ttt but its not counting the incoming hits ...so I guess what im asking is :
1 is there a trade scrpt that i can in stall that will work on one host that I can instll for each of my tgps.
2 Once i get both installed how do i go about cleaning up my traffic such as hit bots. I fell that one of my old trade is sinding me bot hits and I dont want to just pass those on ...Im looking for clean traffic...

Does any of this make any sents...?

Give Arrow Trader Lite a try.

It's the only one I've used besides TTT and it works fine for me. It's free, doesn't need a MySQL database, you shouldn't have any problems running multiple copies on the same host, and there's really good documentation (unlike TTT).
