Curious about something mainstream

I had a hell of a time deciding where to post this. I guess it is business. :)

My wife can't get enough of some reality shows. Right now it's Survivor and Big Brother. She watches Big Brother 3 nights a week for an hour each on CBS, 7 nights a week for 3 hours each on Showtime and who knows on the live 24/7 feeds.

This brings me to my question. Do you think there is any real money in spoiler sites? This one seems to be the best for Big Brother at the moment. But even that doesn't seem to get a real lot of traffic. http://www.bb9spoilers.com/ (Stay away from it Greenie) :)

I think the best money maker on that type of site would be the sale of the live feed.

Yeah, if you glance at the site you can't help but notice all the live feed ads.

She is right, I love Big Brother too.

I managed to look without reading :) It looks like the only ads are the ones for the live feeds. But there might be another aspect to it.

My buddy has run a Fantasy Hockey league for 15+ years. Before each season, he'd compile notes & stats & whatnot so that he was prepared for the draft. When he met me & found out about my online work, he asked how much it's be to get a website going. I told him $15 for the domain & I'd host it for cost (which ended up being minimal) So now he puts all his notes & draft previews & whatnot online & charges $5 to access them via PayPal. This is stuff he was doing anyway - the only thing he added was a website loaded with content he already had.

Long story short, I bet these people would be doing this anyway - on a message board or via email with their friends. This way, they probably make a couple bucks in the process & gain some "internet popularity".

Or CBS pays them to do it :D

edit: no money in it Jim.

Jim, those show sites are a big draw, Im sure besides the feeds you could monetize the outlinks with other affiliate stuff...like say
DVDs of Past Seasons for all the reality shows..maybe with an amazon associate account.
Perhaps a Netflix affiliate...
tshirts, show merchandise etc.
Adsense.

Just some thoughts

Free to join CPA offers would make more then pushing amazon that's for sure. Free zip/cell # forms would also work well I reckon.

Or you could add a squeeze page, build your own list and market your own ebook based on the sites content, for $20 bucks or whatnot.
