Snapshot question

I want to link to certain sites using a snapshot of their site
but when i take a shot of there site using prt screen button on
the keyboard the browser is in the picture.

Is there anyway i can do this without having the browser included?

i use a screen capture program called Magical Snap.

but you could always just crop the browser out of the capture which would be simple.

I was looking for a program that could take screenshots of the entire web page earlier today. Did a search on the board and ended up in a thread that had this url in it: http://pearlcrescent.com/products/pagesaver/
You can choose to take a screenshot of the visible part or of the entire webpage if you use the free version of the program.

Arles Image Web by Digital Dutch works great for this.

You can also try the Screengrab! extension for Firefox.

You can grab what you see in the window, or grab the entire page, or just a selection or a just one frame.
