Looking for more advice on getting better conversions or more signups
 

I've been submitting to appropriate niches and to the well known LL's but conversions haven't been where I thought they'd be.

I know it's not good to look at numbers but I'm just looking for some ideas on how to make my free sites convert better.

I've gotten some advice but trying to get as much input as possible.

Your text is not good. Very milktoast. That's your biggest weakness on the surface.

I don't know those sponsors, but since I don't know them, they might be weak too.

The place to start is reworking your text, starting with the text linked with your banners.

What option are you promoting with WEG cash? The free trial? If so, push that in your text.

Also, stuff like "Oral Previews at Blow Job Fun" wouldn;t make me click on a banner - stuff like " For more pics & movies like these, check out the free trial at Blow Job Fun"

That's not considered too blind?

But also, my main concern is not so much getting people to click the links, it's having them signup.

My problem isn't getting them to click to the sponsor. I'm getting alot of that. Just no signups.

Well, I am looking at how alot of other people setup their free sites and there doesn't seem to be too much to it. :(

It's early, I know. I'll give it a few months to really see how things go.

This may not be the forum for this, but here's some suggestions.

Take a look at this site:

The top of your index page is your #1 sell spot, the most valuable real estate in the whole site. So you want to put your best ad and your best text there. The only thing that can possibly be more important to put there is search engine text. You have your warning there.

Your sell there is smallish text:
TEEN BLOW JOBS AT ITS FINEST

Grammatically clumsy, and your call to action is passive. You have to be excited with your text, vehement, and 100% clear about what you want your surfer to do.

Down below, under your weakass banner (why weakass? just look at it! Are you fucking telling me that's the prettiest girl sucking cock you could find in that sponsors banners?) you say:

Tons of Cock Craving Sluts

What does that mean? what does it say? nothing. It's not even true, not from the surfers point of view. No excitement, no lust. Most important, it doesn't tell the surfer what to do, why they should act.

You can't be casual about the text linked to your banners, it's the most important thing on the site.

I'm going to do you a favor and not make specific suggestions about text. It's hard work, writing text, but thats where the money is.

sickkittens i have been doing this for about 4 months and just the last couple of months i got 3or 4 sign ups so i think i am on the right track

what you have to think about is that you said you are getting sponsor hits but no sign ups

(1) most porn surfers are free loaders so you have to find the ones that pay

(2) Porn Has Been On the net so long so most surfers either joined that site or it dont turn them on enough to get out the card

(3) you have to find a nich that people will pay for, some niches have so much free stuff nobody will pay to see more of the same

(4) more sites and the right sponsor with the right nich = $

(5) when you find the above start mulitiplying

my 2 cents

oh one more thing i talked to a dude the other night and he said that when you get 80 or 90 free sites and some hubs you start to get good results

sickkittens one more thing go to your local porn store and spend some time in there and watch how many people come out with out buying nothing, there just looking so go back the next day or two and see if you see someone from the day before and i bet you that they bought something this time... the net is the same thing

it takes a least a year to do good in this Biz from what people told me Keep Plugging as it is very depressing doing all of this bullshit and not seeing any results but it will come if you dont quit

I totally understand that. I just want to make sure I'm going in the right direction as far as links and layout and such goes so that I can get myself better results in the long run.

I know this gets said a lot for these type of questions - but take heed cause it does really work

Go get yourself a hustler or maxim or some type of magazine that has ads targetting the male population - look at those ads - the pitch, the excitement and the "close" or call to action as Bill put it - and make damned sure that your free site "flows" into the sponsors site - there should be very little distraction caused by clicking on your banner and landing in the sponsors tour - same general colors are good - same type of "sell" that they use(although Ive seen some pretty lame sells used by sponsors lately) just make it seem the natural thing to do - or the "expected" thing to do - to click on their join link - dont tell the surfer that its the best site on the internet - they know better - just tell them how they're going to get their world rocked when they get inside that site :)
