Clarity needed on Free Site Structure
Here's a question dealing with mirroring.
Is the below examples acceptable? **main site** /free/boob/index.htm /free/boob/main.htm /free/boob/gallery1.htm /free/boob/gallery2.htm **mirror 1** /free/boob/funbags/index.htm (points to /free/boob/main.htm) **mirror 2** /free/boob/knockers/index.htm (points to /free/boob/main.htm) I know there are a million posts on this board dealing with this topic. apologize for rehashing the same 'ole' topic. I just need some clarity. Thank you, DedZed |
Some will accept that some will not.
I do this for mirrors: /free/boob/funbags/index.htm /free/boob/funbags/main.htm /free/boob/funbags/gallery1.htm /free/boob/funbags/gallery2.htm Hope that helps some, and I am sure some more qualified answers are coming. |
I don't do mirrors myself but of most that I have seen they were structured like this...
/free/boob/funbags/1/index.html /free/boob/funbags/2/index.html /free/boob/funbags/3/index.html and then these indexes all link may link to... /free/boob/funbags/main.html and I think the reason for this is so that all linklist get "a index page". |
Me, I do it this way.
/gal/sitename/index.html /gal/sitename/warning.html /gal/sitename/home.html Works for me, i do that for every site. All those link to /gal/sitename/main.html |
So is there any clarification from links list owners on this?
I'm about to start building some new free sites and used to use the same technique as TekAngel - but am open to new ideas on structure :) |
I prefer to make a seperate folder for each mirrored free site, Like Tek said. The only downside is you use more disk space and a tiny little bit more bandwidth.

Thanks - sounds good
