New Aussie book - The Porn Report
Hey G.S., Here's some more fodder for your blog! The difference between male/female likes is rather surprising.|boobies|
THE traditional stereotype of a porn user is a dysfunctional middle aged man in a grubby raincoat, but that is being challenged by an unlikely newcomer to the scene, according to a new book on pornography in Australia. That newcomer, says author Catharine Lumby, is likely to be a woman aged under 35 who lives in the suburbs, votes for a progressive party like the Greens, is in a monogamous relationship with a man and earns slightly more than average. http://www.news.com.au/entertainment...007185,00.html |
I thought it was great to hear some positive spin about the porn industry. There was an excellent piece in the Sunday mail too and I am sure I saw something on ACA as well. All of this should help public opinion when/if the government tries to force its new bullshit laws on isp's.

Thanks for the link Tickler. I actually participated in that survey, so it's good to know the book is finally out.
I'm actually surprised that the stats for women are only 17%, although that may be because the survey was asking about buying DVDs rather than watching net porn. I went to Sexpo last night in Brisbane and there were more women than men at the show. |
