Dee's cash at it again....
"Adult affiliate program MayorsMoney announced today that it has been acquired by DeeCash, the latest in a series of recent acquisitions made by the company." Read the full story.
Does anyone have an opinion, good or bad in regard to one company owning so many programs? Is it good or bad for the industry? |
Good or bad depends on what Dee ultimately does with all those programs.
If the old tired stuff is revitalized and updated over time it is a win/win situation for both Dee and affiliates. It will take a huge staff to maintain all those sites and programs. Short term at least there will likely be some support issues as staffing gets sorted. Long term, if it all crumbles under it's own weight, it could be very bad for many. |

HC-
Yeah I saw that...but I wanted to try and start a more in depth discussion. I wanted to get a feel from affiliates or other program owners in regard to the events. Sometimes many of the regs dont look at the products page. |
to be honest with you Jester, I like big programs that cover more niches and sites if the promotional tools are there to make me successful. I may be nieve, but I like to think of it as risk management to not sign up for every program out there because I don't want to give my SSN to everyone. I used to sign up for programs that had were like one hot chicks personal site and then it seemed like that site went out of business shortly thereafter. I've since started using lifelock to protect my SSN (I'm not incorporated or anything like that), but I do have a better appreciation for programs like topbucks, bangbros, nastydollars, pimproll, etc, that have multiple sites and give you the tools to promote them, so I say yeah to the growth as long as they don't revamp their codes and make the old affiliate codes obsolete. I like getting one big check instead of 3 little ones... =)

I'm getting tired of hearing about it personally. It's getting old - another day, another program.

Does anyone have a list of the sites they've bought & the dates? I can go back thru my old stats & do some comparing as I think I was a member of each before they were bought. Might make for an interesting 3 minute read after I put in 30 hours of work :D
I can say that I don't think I've seen any negative aspects of the program that they have bought. And, to put things into perspective, I'm signed up to 570+ programs. There are 110+ programs in Rabbits that I do not have an affiliate ID for, so let's round it off to 700 total affiliate programs (that I know of) & Dee Cash owns 10 (I don't know the exact number - might be 9) So they own 1.4% of the programs that I know of. That's not that big of a deal, especially when you throw in there that there are other companies that own multiple programs - maybe not as many, but one that I know off off the top of my head owns 5 & I bet 99.44% of you don't know who the owner is :) |
OH! NSCash has 4 or 5 programs that are included within NSCash - but I think they were all stand-alone programs before NS got them.
So another question is: Does it make it better/worse if all the programs are under one admin? |
Info For Greenie - JoinRightNow, BadGirlBucks, NichedSites, EliteDollars, epic cash, JasonAndAlex, MilfCash, PureMeds, TripleXCash, Mayors Money (and posisbly Stiffycash).
*** Just to clarify, Im not necessarily saying its a bad thing at all. I think Im along the same lines as easymama..as long as the customer service and tools remain or improve then more power to you. *** |
How come the tune from from Star Wars plays in my mind. Every time I see Dee Cash doing this. Then Darth Vader comes in with his choking grip from across the room.
Dee Cash = The Death Star for smaller programs. |

It's not a bad thing. It just seems like they are just buying them up. I just signed up to Mayors Money. I hope everything goes well regardless. I love the site I Bang Pornstars. Quote:
